Re: Irl v Sco 6Ns 2020

You can players putting the hits in, but apart from the few line breaks it feels like the team is very static.

Re: Thanks Joe

+1 Gent of a man who definitely showes us the way technically, but also gave us the belief that sticking to the plan could make us no.1. And as others said he gave so much of his time to the rugby community even when family issues were weighing on his mind. Best of luck Joe in whatever the future ho...

Re: Aviva Premiership: something exciting happens

I haven't clicked on the link but saw something about that the other day and couldn't believe it. I was talking to a couple of people in the RFU last year and they were talking about how they had so much money from the World Cup that they didn't know what to do with it. Anyone know how much money t...

Re: Aviva Premiership: something exciting happens

Looks like London Irish could find themselves locked out of the AP if the latest talk of ringfencing the league is anything to go by. You'd think they would give clubs a year or two notice. Didn't hear this. What's it all about? With the Brentford deal nearly completion, that's crappy if it's true....

Just reading up on the regs of player eligibility and capture, "(d) Before January 1, 2018, he is selected to represent the Under 20s National Representative Team of a Union which has been pre-designated as that Union’s next senior fifteen-a-side National Representative Team and the Player is p...

Re: Ulster 2017 - 2018

Gerry is reporting Jordie Murphy is off to Ulster in the IT. It'll be sad to lose him but it probably the best as he should be able to make himself first choice there.

Re: RWC 2023: Ireland

See this letter from the IRFU to world rugby leaked to the bbc. http://news.bbc.co.uk/nol/shared/bsp/hi/pdfs/08_11_17_irfu_letter.pdf Says host candidates where only given detailed scoring weightings on the 31st of october! How does anyone pitch their bid correctly without know the precise criteria?...

Darce has a good piece in the IT today 9n this and how we couldnt get the "intangible" qualities of our bid across Also mentioned this: The report also highlights the IRFU’s “little focus on working in partnership with Rugby Europe or any of the other regional associations”. That reads li...

Does anyone know when the fixtures will be released? I seem to think it was towards the end of the year post draw last time rather than the year after.
