Massive game for him, Connacht are gonna go after him big time. I expect Oliver to be on him like a rash all day.

Re: Ireland Autumn Internationals 2021
It's great to see us adapting on our feet. Played to the edge a lot in the previous 2 games. Argentina didn't allow that with their edge defenders coming up very fast and having good spacing. The space therefore was either side of the tackler, with Ireland going through them. Previously we would hav...

Hopefully Timoney can kick on. If he can improve his jackal threat he could be very similar in playing style to David Wallace.

Re: Ireland Autumn Internationals 2021
So Argentina next up, let the selectorial debate begin! I reckon they'll go with something like (injuries and illness permitting) Larmour/Zebo, Balacounne, Hume, Henshaw, Earls/Zebo, Carbery, Murray, Healy, Herring, Bealham, Dillane, Henderson, POM/Beirne, vd Flier/POM, Coombes I reckon that Frawle...

Anyone know where to get the stats from yesterdays game? ESPN bizarrely don't have the fixture up on their website even though all the other ones are there!

Re: The Leinster Front Row preview 2021/22
If he is forced to move, surely Ulster is a better fit? Also need a hooker to eventually replace Herring ( although Tom Stewart has potential ). They're style of play is closer to ours and less idiocracy in the coaching box.

Re: Glasgow Warriors v Leinster Friday 7.35 Premier/TG4
I just think that if Irish is to be a compulsory subject in the Leaving Cert, then there should be a workable solution to teaching it as a subject. I got an awful shock when I realised my kids were so bad at it. They are incredibly bright kids, but their standard of Irish is worse than mine and min...

Tom O'Toole has a lot of upside in fairness to him. Time for him to get game time against either Japan or Argentina.

https://www.espn.com/rugby/matchstats?gameId=594364&league=270557 I think based off a lot of the early season form we're trying to play a more expansive game. We're definitely trying to offload a lot more. I hope ( fingers crossed ) that this is our coaches recognising that we can't bully the bi...

Intersting to see a strong Ulster contingent in the pack. Much needed to compliment the excellent backs produced in recent years.

Re: Leinster Academy 2021-22
Personally I don't think their school has any relevance to it regardless. Thousands of both public & private school students pour into Dublin every year. The problem with the sub-academy is that the players peers will have time for a part-time job, they won't. Hence the financial burden. A one y...

Re: Leinster Academy 2021-22
I don't think anyone has an issue with the sub academy. It's a clever idea to help young lads integrate into pro-sports from school. The issue is, in my opinion, that no one should be asked to do more than one year there ( i.e, first year college ). The majority of third level education in Leinster ...

I see Quinlan suggested Munster move Carbery to 15 to give him time and space and also to give Healy game time. if they did that Leinster should be raging. Cullen and Lancaster wanted Carbery as their 15 going forward.

and Charlie Ryan art 6'8 and 115kg. if those figures are true its some achievement by the players, nutrionists and S&C to get them to that weight. Even Molony looked significantly heftier the other day.

Things spicing up here after a very slow preseason I see. This is a great forum. Plenty of informed and considered views shared and debated. Let's keep the respect to the fore as we make our points. Myself included. Wholeheartedly agree. On the previous matter. I think we just have to have faith in...
