Re: Glasgow ticket
Looking for 1 ticket for Firhill in the Leinster section if anyone has bought an unwanted 1. I can't seem to log in to my Ticketmaster account. PM me. Thanks. Still on sale on Glasgow website. Think it's mainly unreserved anyway. Would have to pick up on the day as no delivery to Ireland. Thanks fo...

Re: Edinburgh
Just looking at the Pro12 league table, Edinburgh have the 2nd highest point scoring tally at 235 but are sporting a -6 points points difference and siting in 9th place...... Jekyl and Hyde stuff! I hope Bradley gets the defense's act together for the new year, or he'll be out on his snot! A few Ed...

Re: Glasgow Away Roll-Call
anybody know if theres any problem with the pubs in Glasgow if your wearing(leinster) colours? Shouldn't be any issues with Leinster colours - apart from maybe some confusion as to which team you support (I get that with Glasgow colours sometimes :( ) It is a divided city, but most city centre or w...

Re: Glasgow away
In which block is the Leinster allocation? I'm not an ST (due to exile) so may have to buy from the SRU/ Glasgow site. Think it's unreserved terrace, it quotes a seat number but in reality you'll be able to sit anywhere. Will probably be similar to pool games in Murrayfield - more empty seats than ...

Re: Glasgow away
What about match tickets. Will Leinster Rugby take an allocation and sell them to Season Ticket Holders or should we be buying direct from Glasgow Warriors. Where is anyone sitting ? I can't believe that it will be a sell out - thats unheard of in Scotland So is signing proven international players...

Re: Glasgow away
OLSC tweeted (or something) that the fixtures for rounds 5 and 6 actually won't be released until 21st Dec. Yep confirmation up on facebook now too that it'll be Wed next week when the January games are confirmed. Don't remember them ever being confirmed so late on in previous seasons. Must still b...

Re: HEC Opponent watch
Anyone get a chance to watch the Glasgow game yesterday? I think Glasgow in Firhill is our toughest match left IMO I was there, unsurprisingly.. Would say of course it is your toughest fixture, purely because it's away from home. Not that you really have much to worry about though. Scrum was a real...

Re: Glasgow Heineken Match at Firhill
Nothing wrong with that kick off time, the lads seem to be raring to get going and very productive at that hour  Never mind that, no beer in the ground on Sunday :-( Thought that no booze on a Sunday was in their former ground (Dowanhill?) and that Firhill had no issue with that. Hughenden - ...

Re: HEC Round 5 Glasgow Warriors V Leinster
Any idea what capacity will be, as i would say we will have a decent support. Maybe they could open the stand behind goal for us!!! JHS (the one we use for every game) 'holds' 4,500, so anything over 5,000 and we would need to open a second stand (the joys of operating unreserved seating... Sure yo...

Re: HEC Opponent watch
http://www.ptfc.co.uk/matches Their own fixture list has them down as playing away to Hamilton Academical on Friday 13th Jan. They seem to have a free weekend the week before, assume that's when the cup games are scheduled. Yep, cup games are the 7th, but replays take precedent over league games (o...

Re: HEC Opponent watch
Anyone else think it would be rather nice for the rest of us to get this much advance notice of what day the round 5/6 fixtures are on? http://www.northamptonsaints.co.uk/news/8013.php I had a look at what fixtures are on those weekends and I've fully convinced myself we're getting 2 Friday nights ...

Re: Leinster V Glasgow
Very surprised about Jennings but at least Ruddock came has come into the squad as well. Wouldn't exactly have been my team but no complaints either. Have to say there's some impact off that bench! Imagine being Glasgow and holding out well for 50 mins before seeing Strauss, Healy, White, Ruddock a...

Re: Leinster V Glasgow
Not a huge amount to worry about there bar 9 and 10 and second row imo. DTH Van Der Merwe is a big loss. Is Stortoni still there or is he injured? Stortoni retired at the end of last season (although I believe this came as a surprise even to him - his contract had another year to run). His replacem...

Re: HEC Opponent watch
I want 5 wins and a home QF. And we have the team to do it. Bath in Bath is the hardest one on paper. We are due a win in firhill. Why not one in January and one in February to make up for all the times we blew it there. We are the champs of Europe we should be expecting to dominate a relatively ea...

Re: Minority sport!
I always thought the Borders region was the Scottish rugby heartland. Why did they not do more to maintain that?? I know football is a religion in Scotland, but it's so bloody sh!t and predictable. Even the Old Firm don't have a hope in Europe at any level anymore. They must be able to get more tha...

Re: HEC Opponent watch
Feel the pool is yours to loose now! Can't speak for Bath (who on yesterdays showing are average at best), but Glasgow can play far, far better than they did yesterday. However, a win's a win - and Glasgow teams of old would never have won that game. We seem to have developed a winning habit of late...

Re: 2011 / 2012 Leinster Jersey?
I think ERC require that participating teams have a HEC specific jersey that they do not use in other competitions?. Totally agree on not buying nasty looking jerseys. I skipped the unicorn one. Nope, that is the lie the IRFU used to bring out European shirts for you guys last season. Neither Glasg...
