Re: Leinster Academy 2021-22
Some brilliant rugby all round but Edogbo… . Great hands, lines, and support play to go with his obvious power and pace. Nice to see Spicer get lifted easily and he’s definitely got something about him other than pure size. If Munster academy dont snap up Edogbo, we should be down to Cobh p...

Re: Ireland U20's 2022
Just saw a picture Ihechi Oji who looks like a young Bastareaud and is a winger too. In the pictures he's played for both Munster and Leinster. Is he a part of our system or is he with Munster? Would people rate him? https://twitter.com/frontrow1to3/status/1513598944277893132 When did he play with ...

Re: Schools rugby 2020/21
Very good game. Michaels deserved it over the 60 minutes but very impressed with both sides.
Roscrea came back into game well after getting an early score then going 19-7 down but Michaels had bit more to get the win

Re: Leinster Academy 2021-22
What do you mean by a "2nd u18 side"? How does that work and who do they play? There has been for 20+ years 2 irish under 18 squads playing each year. Clubs squad and a schools squad they combined a few years back tho unfortunately no youths/clubs players named in the "schools" ...

Re: Munster Rugby 2021/2022 - Search for the Holy Grail
We’ve seen the same poster state that Haig would be DOR in one post and forwards coach in another, the same poster has said that it will be Costello as defence coach and in another it was McNamara. They’ve also listed McNamara as Backs coach in a post and I think Prendergast in another. It looks li...

Re: Schools rugby 2020/21
Do you know how much funding the top two schools pump in per player in SCT? think you need to re-read my post I wasn't suggesting that Rock or Michaels should receive funding from Leinster (or Clongowes or Zaga for that matter) ... rather I was suggesting that Leinster pump money into Temple Carrai...

Re: The Conveyor Belt
I apologies if this has already been discussed to death under another topic heading. With the change to the URC season it looks like smaller squads will be needed by the provinces which provides even fewer seats for the huge numbers we are producing every year. We have a small playing pool for the ...

Gerards Bray 12 Newbridge 31
Cistercian Roscrea 10 Wesley 30
Marys 46 CUS 24
Kind of surprised at margins in some of these games especially the Wesley Roscrea game. Thought that especially would have been much closer.

Understand the rationale but is he that standard? I know it was a weird game but I didn't see a lot to impress me when he played against us. I wouldn't judge him on that game but yeah I should have qualified it with "if he's good enough". I'm assuming he is good enough to be there but mig...

Re: Ireland U20's 2022
I know it was never going to happen but personally I’d have Karl Martin in there. To me it doesn’t make sense to risk alienating players at such a young age. Keep them involved, get them building friendships with players and coaches, and then it’s easier to bring them back in future. I would hope t...
