Re: A damn shame
Its a real shame that the Magners League play-offs came this year- we are so far ahead in top spot, had it been the standard league format, we would have won it by now and could have devoted all energies to defending our Heineken Cup. What was last years champions Munster's points score at this sta...

Must be the SF. Who ever wins in Toulouse will win the final , but to win there we will need every ounce of support. Thereafter buy a lotto. sell your body, your vinyl record collection, or as Groucho said ''keep sending those begging letters'' but a way will be found to get the dosh for the final .

Re: The Media on Leinster Supporters
Thornley is spot on , segregrated stadia within 10 years- at least for certain fixtures. Maybe he could have sweetened the pill by including examples from Munster Ulster etc, but his basic premise is correctamundo, and we have done our fair share to bring it about. A natural bi-product of the Heinek...

    I love this!! I'll bring this thread up again alright!! It's the very REASON I'm saying it now is that he had a good game, just like it's so funny to read about Sexton being a sh!t kicker / player because he had an off day... trust me, Earls is a spoofer, he isn't good enoug...

Re: Ireland - can we beat France?
Of course we can , it wont be easy and we could just as easily lose, and badly. But we have a number of things going for us - we have a settled squad and a coach who makes logical changes ( we may not agree with them but you can see his point ), whereas France have a flake who seems to make changes ...

Re: Is Michael O'Leary insane?
jesus, do you work for ryanair? i thought everyone knew their flights on time thing was a joke. they claim dublin-liverpool (for example) will take 90 minutes, when it takes less than 60. then when they arrive 'early' they clap themselves on the back and booking early is a guarantee of a cheap flig...

Re: Is Michael O'Leary insane?
booking early would be great, if it weren't for ryanairs 'rescheduling" of flights. "you booked a flight for €70 at 4pm? unfortunately its been cancelled. there's a flight to the same destination now leaving at 4.01pm though. it will only cost an extra €350 for a ticket" its opportun...

people just resent him cause he ups prices by 7000% for match weekends/provides piss poor customer service/advertises cheap flights that work out more expensive due to hidden everything fees/generally acts like a complete tosser these are just some of the many more accurate statements you could hav...

The man is a business genius knows exactly how to court the media If this was England he would be knighted at this stage, but here people just resent him cause he is successful I don't resent him. I just find his rants boring - particularly his ones regarding monopolies in Dublin Airport while at t...

Re: Glad its all over! say NO to de Jingoism
In a way, I,m glad the Lion's Tour is over as I couldnt handle the Jingoism from both the Paper and Broadcast media here. There seemed to a National Wet Dr**m when we had 7 Players in the 22 for the 2nd Test, various hard luck stories about players not been picked, national pressures coming thru' f...

Re: Roberts named HSBC player of the series
Who would you guys have gone for? It's hard to pick one single player of the tour. A few players surprised me, including Simon Shaw, and Riki Flutey's outstanding performance on Saturday. Is Rob Kearney now a world class 15? Is Shaw the complete second row, as Liam Toland suggested? Have we drastic...

Arrogance coupled with a massive chip on the shoulder in the sense that ''everybody is out to get us'' . that voortrekker spirit is still just below the surface methinks . Utterly inappropriate on so many levels -dismissive of the the players on the receiving end of a brutal tour- disrespectful beha...

Yes it is as bad as it sounds , should never have been released, typical Microsoft releasing a beta version and using the user to do the troubleshooting. It takes up a hugh amount of memory , really slows your system down , what it will allow today it refuses tomorrow and that is before I even get s...

I'd imagine it would be the biggest day of his life, but you'd rather take that away from him because he plays for a rival club? Yes why would you so dislike some one so much, presumably someone you have never met , never spoken too , you must be either (a)12 years old (b) think you are on Chelseaf...
