If my figures are right, France has only won 4 of its last 14 matches against Ireland. For someone of my generation that’s an amazing statistic.

That was a gripping game to watch. Great performance and win by Ireland.

Re: 6N: France Ireland - Marseille Fri 8pm 2 Feb 2024
Finally rewatched the game at last. After Keenan’s fantastic tackle on Penaud in the 38th minute Keenan was left writhing on the floor. The replay shows that as the two players disentangled themselves Penaud deliberately stabbed his right leg back into Keenan’s tenders - really cheap shot. I’d like ...

My evenings enjoyment won’t be complete until I switch over to Munsterfans to find just how badly Jack Conan played when he came on!

Re: 6N: France Ireland - Marseille Fri 8pm 2 Feb 2024
Edogbo statically played better than McCarthy out there tonight. His expected turnovers and expected gaineline success rate really gave him the expected man of the match award. Can't wait to see him in Green again. Well- there’s obvious sarcasm there. But is there a real point behind it? I mean, I’...

Re: Rumour Mill
There's no real rugby insight there to even bother disagreeing with. Not even sure why it gets discussed here. [/quote No certainly not. I enjoyed recently when there pushing some absolute guff about the Leinster scrum - Porter's "illegal scrummaging" and Baird being the one who decides h...

Re: Rumour Mill
Wouldn't pay one jot of attention to them if you paid me. They are a Munster propaganda machine, peddling all sorts of conspiracy theories and mis-truths about the media, big bad Leinster and big bad Nucifora. They even have it in for Farrell too and a couple of them in particular whine a lot about...

Re: 6 Nations 2024
I wonder about Balacoune and Stockdale’s value to our 6N Squad as the game at the weekend showed how evident their defensive frailties still are.

Re: Munster 2023/2024 - Return of the Jedi????
I didn’t see how the injuries occurred to Jäger and Hansen. I did see the tackle by Ralston on JOD. That was absolutely shocking - a terrible thing to do to a fellow professional. I've reviewed the three camera angles Premier Sports showed in both slo-mo and normal speed and do not believe that Ral...

I would imagine that John Plumtree’s position must be in serious jeopardy after that result - a dead man walking in coaching terms really.

Re: URC 2023/24
Another glaring problem is that Warburton would ascribe any seriousness at all to any statement from that contrarian, Stephen Jones! The financial governance in the Premiership is a shambles and we shouldn’t touch them with a barge pole. If the Welsh Regions want to join an Anglo-Welsh League let th...

I want to doff my hat to all our fellow supporters in the North and South Stands who turned up to support the team in what they knew would be horrific conditions. It’s long past time that they had the protection of a roof.

Re: Leinster v Ulster RDS 1st January 2024 at 17:15
Our defensive line was repeatedly too narrow in the game which facilitated two tries via deft kicks from Billy Burns. Our kicking game was very poor also. Fair dues to Ulster on a deserved win.

Think the weather forecast is for persistent rain from 1 or 2pm until about 8 or 9pm. I’d like to think that might help us given the quality of our forwards.
