Re: European Cup Final 2020

Only time I ever felt unsafe around a rugby match was after the Marseille SF. Think it was locals looking for trouble rather than Toulon fans but not pleasant.

Re: Leinster Squad 18-19

All you guys talking about your favorite Strauss moment there. How about this? The dummy, the timing, the vision and the delivery. Absolutely gorgeous pass. He makes it look so easy to set Kearney free. If Furlong did this (and Furlong is a legend), he'd be on the Late Late Show. *Disclaimer: Super...

Re: A whiff of Cordite

If fatigue was an issue, then why were they the team on top in the final quarter? I know Racing had switched off, but it was them who had guys down with cramp and sauntering around the pitch, not Munster. The point I was trying to make is that Francis is coming on here, stealing Oldschool's ideas a...

Re: Leinster's Halfback Options going forward

Imagine sitting down with Carbery just after his stint off the bench seeing Leinster in to the Champions cup final and trying to convince him to leave the success, friends and top class coaching behind to move to a team with NO coaching team in place for next season, no pack, who are still fighting...

Re: Champions Cup Final - Leinster v Racing

A lot of posters on here blowing hard earned reputations with their JC v RB posts. I know who I'd want and I couldn't give two fiddlers what Jucifor want but their agenda isn't necessarily the same agenda being put forward here which is just short of it's own Joey out thread. It is all about the hi...

Not just you - have often thought that myself. To the extend that I sometimes find myself thinking "too early, games not won yet" when I hear it!

In sport its the little things that get the supporters on side and provide a natural base from which to build your sporting empire. Take for example, Bristol, exploiting their long history with wildlife to get the locals sense of pride bubbling... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/43784221 'Br...

I know it's not Leinster Rugby's fault as it's EPCR's gig but Ticketbastards are up to their usual tricks. Despite logging on at 10.00 on the dot, best tickets available are in the corners. I'm also an IRFU Patron and the tickets offered through that account were even worse. I presume the late buye...

Re: Sabre-rattling from Premiership Rugby again ...

An ownership system that is dependent on the largesse and health of one man is extremely unreliable. Bristol Shoguns and to an extent Stade Francais in Rugby, Gretna FC and Blackburn Rovers in soccer show what happens when that largesse or health fails Didn't Castres have the same issue - it was ba...

I wonder who the ref will be? Presumably Wayne Barnes will get one of the two games. We could have Poite or Garces again.

If you're not into cliches, you'll do well to avoid Liam Toland in the IT today. By his standards, a sloppy piece with some big expressions e.g. "THE CORRIDOR OF POWER", without anything like an explanation of what he means. Been searching in vain for any commentator who has envisaged wha...

Great if they are covering the away games. Not so great if they are just covering home games.
