Re: Leicester v Leinster Sat 20th 3.15 TNT Sports
Like Faz & PO'C worked out, scrum vulnerability can cost penalties, points and even cards. Line-out weaknesses cost your opportunities or limits options. "Don't go to a gunfight with a knife" comes to mind. Tigers have a scrum and maul we must handle. Beyond that, not so much. This is ...

Re: Leinster v Leicester - Sat 6 April, 20.00 RTE2
Playing against Leicester is not rocket science. But we must have best possible front-five and half-backs. Front-five will get a real workout in scrums & mauls and if we're not in charge Reiffel will get lots of turnovers. Kicking ball to Stewart will gain no return, so any half-back kicks must ...

Re: The quickening 2024
With Glasgow playing Zebre twice, the Bulls having a million home matches and our potential European commitments does anyone else feel the run in could see us finishing 3rd in the league? Short answer: maybe. Long answer: I expect the Bulls to win their remaining five games and finish on 68/69 poin...

Boyle will be 22 in October 2024. He has played 10 times for Leinster at LHP and has his career ahead of him, bar serious injury. Why would he be considering leaving Leinster, where he is surrounded by many of the best players on the Irish team who have won successive 6N titles. His Club Leinster ca...

Any injury report from Friday. We'll need a full deck for the next fortnight but a few of theyoungsters have put their hands high in the air. Russell, Turner and Milne have all made good impressions whilst Larmour, Lowe, Henshaw, Kelleher and Conan look on top of their form. Who partners McCarthy? W...

Re: 6 Nations (Women)
Our team needed to show greater consistency in attack and defence. The best, on both sides of the ball, was excellent but the lapses were what cost cost us. The simple things of catching and tackling went missing too often. Our Nos 7, 4, 3 and 5 showed great power in attack, from time to time, but n...

Nure got the win. Conditions were against decent rugby with squally rain and Chris Busby ensured the rest. Two tough defences and Terenure won the try count 3-2, but rugby only appeared in patches. Finished 29-15, but game took almost 100 minutes!

Have not been that excited to go to the RDS in a long time. Felt like a game with proper jeopardy. Got on the wrong side of the ref early doors and then score an absolute worldie through VdF. Bad last 8-10 minutes of the first half and go in at half time 2 points and a man down. Second half perform...

Re: Aviva Premiership: something exciting happens
'Leicester scrape past Newcastle in bizarre game' is an unusual headline but certainly reflects last night's game which was in sharp contrast to Leinster's performance against the Bulls.

Re: Leinster vs Bulls, March 29th, 7.35pm
Two strong sides named, although we look a bit stretched in the 3/4s, particularly when you look at the gas of Williams, Moodie, KLA and LeRoux. The back rows look evenly matched so I think it’s the half backs who will have to win it for us by controlling field position and tempo. Fascinating match...

Re: Croke Park to host major Leinster rugby games
We might even get some new fans from the moves. That is certainly how I would be looking at it. New fans from a 10 game move to the Aviva or Croker? Hardly New fans from a single game in Kilkenny? Perhaps, but unlikely to move the needle commercially I would have thought A really innovative approac...

I'd like to see the following line-up against the Bulls: Osborne, Larmour, Ringrose, Henshaw, Lowe, R Byrne, JGP; Milne, Kelleher, Big Mike, Big Joe, Molony, JVdF, Conan, Baird; Bench: Healy, Barron, Furlong, Jenkins, Deegan, McGrath, Turner. Bulls are a seriously hard-nosed outfit who will test our...

Thanks. Internationals back training today. Jason Jenkins also pictured so hopefully whatever forced him out of the starting lineup on Saturday was only a very short-term issue. https://www.sportsfile.com/more-images/112403136/ https://inpho.ie/assignment/zIYRgIj7fj7gOEIgRb3Hcg..a?ts=uNXMZm7j9dNRvL...
