Re: The quickening 2024

There’s surely no chance of us flying players out for the second game? I’d have rather expected players to fly home. Why not reinforce? Indeed, why bring players back home? We need a win on this trip. We screwed up royally against the Lions, so the expectation/ calculation that we could soft pedal ...

URC hotting up

Really great run in now for the top 4 after Munster beat the bulls to bring it to 4 teams fighting out. Then the next 4 is getting even more interesting with ospreys pulling a shock win against stormers to enter the contest. Only 3 points separate 5th from 11th. Turning into another great season fin...

Re: Leinster v Northampton Saints - EPCR Semi-Final Croke Park 4th May

70k sold Nothing really left on TM, they opened the Nally terrace just there. I imagine it's over 70k sold now with just Saints returns left to come back. I know a few people who were caught out this morning. nearly go caught myself trying to wait for better tickets!! I'd say Saints returns are don...

Re: Leinster v Northampton Saints - EPCR Semi-Final Croke Park 4th May

Apparently over 33,000 tickets have already sold before it even goes on general sale tomorrow that’s fantastic - also likely to be a good crowd from Northampton on those numbers I wonder does that include the 10k allocation to Saints ( I'd imagine max 5k will be taken up by Saints supporters). Re: Leinster v Northampton Saints - EPCR Semi-Final Croke Park 4th May

There have been decent ones available for an hour or 2 now. Got what I needed but a waste of a morning pi$$ing about with ticketba$tard. Also we are in 2 groups now instead of 8 together. That's a minor detail though Yeah got mine before map went up and our group of 6 was together but I now see a s...

They have said they consulted closely with the OLSC

was a rough experience for Barron, who bounced back and is now clearly 3rd choice. Yep. I thought that would have been curtains on his Leinster career with McKee playing so well last season. To his immense credit he has stepped up whenever called upon and I agree is 3rd choice hooker at present. Al...

Surely John McKee is 3rd choice after coming back from injury? nope Barron has been ahead of him, if sheehan or kelleher went down last weekend, barron was with squad to come onto bench. Mildly have you a vested inte...

Got Cusack, half way line but it's just pot luck Sent from my VOG-L09 using Tapatalk I got halfway line on hogan but only after I put in selection only for premium as they had been giving me corner slots. They said they couldn’t give me prem but alternate tickets were halfway line instead! Maybe tr...

Re: Jordi Barrett to sign for Leinster

I think a lot of the current success we have which as mentioned many times here goes back over 15-20 years is attributable to Mick Dawson. Drop him at Munster instead of Leinster 20 years ago and things might look very different despite the inherent advantages we have as a province. Unfortunately t...

Re: Jordi Barrett to sign for Leinster

Rob Baxter If Irish rugby, Leinster and the United Rugby Championship can get their house in order to allow them to invest in players, their programme and their coaches like they do, you have to say, ‘Fair play.’ “My response would be, ‘Let’s not try to say it’s not fair and limit Leinster, let’s l...

No it seems Leinster are treating this time down in SA very serious not giving anything away on who might be playing on Saturday.

Re: Jordi Barrett to sign for Leinster

So, what’s Leinster’s annual budget? €8m ex CCs according to Donal Lenihan with an annual budget of 18/19m IIRC from about 2-3 years ago Sorry, so that's a total of €18- €19 Million, when all Central Contracts values are accounted for? The English Premiership wage cap is €6.4 Million- correct? And ...
