Re: RWC: Ireland v. South Africa SAT 23 SEP 20.00
Was in France for the first 10 days of the tournament so was either in the stadium or watching games on french TV. Came back to earth this evening when I turned on Italy v Uruguay and heard Fiona Hayes dulcet tones. Then watched the opening game on the RTE player - Cahill & Birch - Bitch was fi...

Re: Munster v Leinster St Stephen's Day 19.35 TG4
God, reading Munster Fans - the knives are out for Carbery. Apparently a noose was hung around his neck only two minutes into the match. Munster fans outright calling him a 15, that Leinster were right. Who'd've thunk it. Didn't see too much off the ball critique of Joey, but also did not see hardl...

Re: Blues Talk tv
As Dave likes the Round of 16, over on Reddit I wrote about a possible logical format of the Pro16 and were South African teams to be admitted to the European Cup, a logical format that would facilitate a wider participation without sacrificing too much - but allowing for a Round of 16. The context...

Re: is the Rainbow Cup still going ahead?
Yes, it's the 'derby cup', boring as f%~k, plus two boring fixtures against two boring Pro12 teams, plus one fixture against a South African team.

Castleknock in the semi final of the Junior and Senior Cup..this has to be the schools best year in decades! Be interesting to see if they keep this up in the coming years Best year since 2002 for the Seniors, not sure the last time both were in the Semi Final. But unfortunately I felt the referee ...

Re: The Province Formerly Known As Munster 2018-19
Munster: Carbery and Nick McCarthy should move to Munster, he'll get more game time and will develop his skills, help unlock our back line and we'll be a powerhouse 12 months later: Munster are still ineffective, backs are still very limited, attack is lacking any creativity, Carbery isn't developin...

Re: Leinster Scrumhalves
I think the major complaint is when a player moves mid contract. If a player is coming to end of a contract, it is their right to choose where they want to play in subsequent seasons and we cant complain if their exercise their right to move, with or without inducements from other Provinces/Clubs. ...

Re: Saracens Fans Forum
Looking at another fan’s forum is like the Springfield/Shelbyville episode of The Simpsons. Do they have a lad who bangs on about his old school relentlessly, a few people who do nothing but slag off their main rivals and a lot of conspiracy theories about their national governing body too? And the...

Re: Saracens Fans Forum
The usual shite of " Why do they play in Lansdowne Road, so unfair ", despite the rules allowing it and their club/PRL deciding to nominate a stadium a few hours away not being our fault. Read the rules, ask your club/PRL, not Leinster. However, they are fairly happy we're their opponents...

Re: The Province Formerly Known As Munster 2018-19
They did it again tonight. Won with 6 tries having played like drains for middle 40 mins. In fact, their power and support lines in final 20 mins would give Sarries a run. As much as I would like munster to beat sarries.... I just cannot see it. Sounds like carbery is out with his hamstring but eve...

Re: Rumour Mill
We arent even out of the woods yet, there are still renewals not confirmed. The IRFU have moved a Leinster contracted player mid contract and another centrally contracted player mid contract. While I'm never thrilled to see a player leave Leinster, if it's the end of their contract, they've failed ...
