The remaining sections of the West Upper have now been released. Some really good ticket options there.

There seems to be huge interest in this game. Looks like it could be close to a full house. 45,000 anyways.

Re: Croke Park to host major Leinster rugby games

Using CP for a q-final is ludicrous. It’ll be quarter full and have the atmosphere of a funeral. 50,000 in CP is still a dead atmosphere. Utilising a provincial ground e.g Kilkenny, Portlaoise, Tullamore should be explored for this game. Particularly if it’s against a team who will bring practically...

Re: Leinster v Leicester - Sat 6 April, 20.00 RTE2

Have been out this morning in "Storm Kathleen" and in an open field it would be all but impossible to play as even a static ball on the ground blew 40m away with one gust. However, Leo et all have clearly planned for the conditions, given his reference to the greater shelter at the Southe...

Bookies have home teams as very strong favourites for all L16 games bar Stormers v LAR on friday night.
Stormers v LAR is on Saturday.

Upper tier East Stand and South Stand are currently available. West Stand upper as of now not opened. They may open it depending on how ticket sales go during the week. 30,000 tickets sold so far seemingly.

With Glasgow playing Zebre twice, the Bulls having a million home matches and our potential European commitments does anyone else feel the run in could see us finishing 3rd in the league?

Re: Croke Park to host major Leinster rugby games

Yes - but they did seem to think RDS would be available for the URC QF whereas I think Croke Park is being mooted for that. They asked what number of tickets need to be sold to pay for Croke Park. I think I saw somewhere that the GAA charge 750k for it - just taking that as a rough estimate, it mea...

Re: Leinster vs Bulls, March 29th, 7.35pm

Will the Bulls field at full strength against us on Friday? Jake white is the most experienced Coach in the URC, but even he will not have experienced the challenge of battling in two Competitions in different hemispheres over a 3 / 4 week timeframe. Bulls face Leinster next Friday in Dublin, follo...

Re: Croke Park to host major Leinster rugby games

I presume the Nowlan park booking is for the Leinster v Munster URC league match next season? That stadium is only 24k capacity ..... so why not just jack up the prices of the RDS to that of the Aviva for that match, and save the rental costs (and traveling hassle for fans)? If Leinster want to &qu...

Re: Zebre v Leinster Sat 23 March KO 7:35pm RTE2

The squad rotation after the Zebre game is going to be fascinating in my opinion. We have Bulls, Leicester and hopefully an I-Cup Q-Final on successive weekends. With the probability of having to re-integrate some big names into our environment pre I-Cup, some of our hevay hitters are probably going...

Re: Aviva Premiership: something exciting happens

The Scottish RFU tried to approach London Scottish with a view to having another pro team, the English RFU were quite firm in their rebuttal and that was to play in the English leagues, would you want Wasps playing home games in Athy but in the English Premiership? fair points. Wasps filling a 28,0...

Re: Leinster Squad 23-24

He could quickly be 1st choice for Munster, which wont happen here. Family have strong ties to Munster too. He's from Birr but his father was Roscrea and you will see more Munster jerseys in that club than Leinster. There always something, always. Even with Salanoa, Limerick was closer in size to h...
