It seems there are around 20 NFL grounds as part of the bid, so this RWC may have to be played in the summer to avoid a clash with the NFL season which starts mid September.

World Cup is in September/October no? FIFA World Cup Nov/Dec 2022 No Premier League/Champions League or European top tier leagues. BT will probably be promoting the tournament to the hilt for those first two rounds. Yup no Premier League games between mid November and Christmas due to the World Cup.
