Hi Barry Yeah the trains are very regular into Cardiff thats not a problem. Thanks for the advise about booking a taxi in Ponty, i never tought of that. Hi Guys Philomena's in Covent Garden is a good shout. Always have the Irish sports on the tv and good and central. Also depending on where you're staying The Alex in Clapham is a good bet. No it doesnt have to be a hotel, BnB, Guesthouse, anyhting really... its hard to find a dedicated BnB Website.
