Re: A whiff of Cordite
Three business stories broke this morning, all worthy of some good investigative journalism and some names. The AIB & Building Society fine by the Central Bank. Biggest fine in Irish business history. But not one mention of the key executives who made these policy decisions within either instit...

It's pride month ffs. They chose to do it now because it's pride month and it might help someone like him in that situation. I hope anyone in the closet of any age who see's the reaction see's how positive the reaction is and that they can have that too. It's an unambiguosly good thing and if you fe...

Re: S Africa - Unstoppable juggernaut?
Think it's more likely the South Africa in the 6n is a wedge to force the issue of annual/biennial RWC lite fixtures.

There’s no denying that the landscape looks good for them but I think Ray talks a load of b*%&!cks tbh. I haven’t heard this interview but heard him before and thought he came across really well. Followed him on Twitter and realised very quickly that he’s a biased bullshit merchant who just hap...

Re: S Africa - Unstoppable juggernaut?
There’s lots of current and future boks in both them sides. That's your comment???!!! Bulls had no or virtually no Boks. Stormers some. It's the least relevant point in the whole post tho?! Virtually means nothing. Coastzee is a Bok. Steyn, Botha and Du Plessis have been capped too and AIUI Nortje ...

Re: United Rugby Championship
Pretty happy with the final. As has been said already they’ve been a good addition to the league. Should get the full benefit of it next season. They talked about it on the 42 and it does feel like the league has turned a corner and hopefully the public and media give it a bit more respect now. Saff...

NMcC: I suppose because it’s not really ‘a thing’. It’s not common for a male athlete to come out in sport, nevermind professional rugby, and it’s probably something that I didn’t want to believe or accept myself either. No idea where he'd get an idea like that. Certainly not someone in the Irish m...

Re: Top 14 21/22
Arguably, the Six least entertaining teams in the three NH Leagues qualified for the three finals. Montpellier come through to play Castres, following the Prem kick-fest between Leicester & Sarries and the all SA URC final of Bulls & Stormers. Certainly doesn't look too encouraging for team...

It’s very physical, but conditions are difficult and possession changing hands a lot. Not what you’d expect from two South African teams. Like they seem determined not to play the conditions:
