Re: Leinster League 2013/ 2014
I hope you're not expecting me to comment on that Spoofer  We had a run out last week against Newbridge. I can only assume they were missing some bodies although I did hear they lost a few at the end of last season. Word is Kilkenny will be a decent outfit this year too. All in all, looking for...

How are we all looking for the upcoming season? Movers and shakers etc.
Leave your thoughts guys.

Re: Leinster League 2012-2013
Or have they just found their level......... ? Its seems a very competitive league, with very little between 2nd to 2nd last........ Have all clubs not shipped some injuries ? perhaps Monkstown are no different and are just not top of Div 1B standard !! We started the stronger of the two, but all c...

Re: Leinster League 2012-2013
Yeah they played all the rugby while we sat back, a cold night and things just did not go our way, they deserved that one.the spoofer wrote:Have to say I'm not that surprised by Ash turning ye over. They are a limited team (as are most) but have a togetherness that gets them through many a close gamethe spoofer wrote:Monkstown Phil wrote:Ashbourne vs Monkstown - Away by 7

Looks about right but Ashbourne are stubborn b$&%@#ds. Really hope Longford get back to winning ways, they have lost three games lately that they could have won.

Re: Leinster League 2012-2013
I was at the game, and i left very disapointed. We left it behind us. In fairness to Monkstown they defended well and took the try well. but other than that we dominated. We missed 6 kicks in total and probably should have scored a try from a pushover scrum(maybe even a penalty try). But no sour gr...

Re: Leinster League 2012-2013
I'd heard last week that they had pulled out, but then they played against Tullamore at the weekend so not sure what the story is. Can't be any use to either them, or the opposition to be getting their asses handed to them every week. On the flip side dropping them into the bottom league handing ou...

Re: Leinster League 2012-2013
I was at the Longford V Monstown game played in perfect conditions. It was a real ding dong battle with defences on top for both teams. Monkstown have a mssive pack and their No 8 did a lot of damage to the home team. It came down to a penalty shoot out with Longford landing their kicks while Monks...
