Re: United Rugby Championship

It would be interesting to see some sort of breakdown by time of day and day of week, to see if there are specific slots that attract more viewers

Re: Steve Thompson not very well at all

I think it's a shame to marginalise trans women even further. I can see the logic for putting in restrictions/criteria as has been done in other sports but I don't think it's a black and white issue that should be solved with a blanket ban. Their statement mentioned that this ruling affects two reg...

Thought we were a bit fortunate to get the penalty after VdF's turnover as NZ player didn't seem to be holding on

Re: Tour to NZ 2022

I think the law is clear. None of that is there anyway; unless I'm missing something. It seems clear to me; and clarified further with the short vid (World Rugby Laws app) I was trying to illustrate how commentators are describing the reasoning behind awarding a scrum rather than a penalty – that's...

Putting serious pressure on the NZ lineout so far, I expect to see us pinch a few.
NZ's 2nd lineout was ridiculously crooked

Re: Tour to NZ 2022

What exactly is the logic of having Bealham as bench LH cover and Healy as bench TH cover? Such a bizarre selection. If Healy isn't fit, as it looks very much like he isn't just say that. Yeah saw that too.... surely just a mix up in jersey number you would think. Faz commented specifically on Heal...

Re: Tour to NZ 2022

In fairness, that isn't exactly a quality Irish team. Go beyond our first 15 and we are looking for the best of the rest rather than lads who are screaming for inclusion. Nope. I'd expect Leinster (comfortably), Ulster and Munster to beat the side we put out today. And for Connacht to give them a r...

Joe Joyce (born 7 February 1994) is an English-born, Irish-qualified rugby union player. He plays lock for English Premiership Rugby side Bristol Bears. He is lovingly known as "The King of the Mead" by fans after a commentator coined the phrase. He has played over 100 games for Bristol a...

Re: Tour to NZ 2022

I think you're exactly right there Hugonaut. As many have said, RB doesn't suit Ireland's style of play so it makes complete sense that he's not included in the squad and that HB is instead. It reminds of a bit of Jim Gavin with Dublin - he didn't necessarily pick the 15-20 best footballers in Dubli...

That was me questioning Wixfjord saying that the Bulls pack was 30kg lighter as I thought it was the other way around. How is that trolling?

Re: Leinster v Bulls Friday RDS 19:35 TG4

That's the most disappointing performance I've seen this season. I said after the La R game that power was our issue. I was right. Other posters on here poo pooed me saying it. I hope they can see it now. We have lovely footballers, but no answer to powerful teams. Extremely disappointing. Question...
