Some serious Leinstertainment potential in that backline.

Re: Box Sets... The Next One ???
My current guilty pleasure is Snow Piercer. It’s a bit preachy but It’s a decent enough premise and a good enough auld yarn and there are some very good performances in there to boot. If you haven't seen the film you definitely should. I haven't seen the show though, so don't know if watching the f...

Re: Sexton's last season? Outhalf going forward..
I don't think Frawley is any more likely to start at 15 where he'd be behind Keenan and potentially JOB, both who have been excellent at 15 the past 1-2 years.

Re: Box Sets... The Next One ???
Does Wandavision get any better? How far into it are you? I watched the first episode last night as it seems to be popular with good reviews - it was amusing in a clearly taking the piss way but you certainly couldn't watch a whole season like that. In the trailer I saw it at least moved to being i...

Re: Friday's rant
Just to clarify. Members of the Garda band are not members of the force plucked from various stations just because they are pretty handy at "The Birdy Song" on the trumpet or "The Macarena" on a sax. They are musicians who applied to join the Garda Band when vacancies and recruitment competitions a...

And I'm sure when the media return to the "Leinster have too many backrows and need to share the wealth" narrative, they'll completely ignore situations like this.

Re: 6 Nations 2021
There seems to be plenty suggesting/toying with the idea of moving Beirne to 6. I know a lot argue that it's his best position, but after his performance on Sunday in the 2nd row, I think it's unlikely he'll be moved. Rhys into 6 seems the most logical (and deserving) call.

Re: Dragons Away, 19th Feb, 7.35pm
Coombes has gone back to Munster (having been called up as cover) so I would understand from that that we could see players being released on non 6N weekends.

Re: 6 Nations 2021
On the Ringrose offload, I think he threw it as he was being held up in the tackle and it would have likely resulted in a Welsh scrum.
Now obviously it didn't work out but I actually think it was a fair call, poorly executed on his and supporting teammates side.

Re: 6 Nations 2021
That was a really strange game. Box kick after box kick for the first 20 minutes, and then expected a bad loss once POM got his marching orders. But some great performances, some poor performances and some big moments had a big impact on the game, and there were so many to choose from. The Good Setp...

Re: 6 Nations 2021
I think it's a really strange selection to have a 7 who doesn't really play anywhere else on the bench when there's already a 7 who doesn't play anywhere else starting. Rhys would actually be the perfect no.20. Mostly known for playing 6, has been Leinster's player of the season so far at 8, and has...

Re: 6 Nations 2021
That 6-10 would be disappointing, though I would definitely have VdF over Connors Who would you have instead? Not sure really. I'm not a fan of POM at 6 so I'd have him at 7 if he's in (probably wouldn't have him in the starting XV to be honest). Similarly with CJ I think he's better at 6 than at 8...

Re: Munster Away 26/12 19:35 Eir Sport 1
Lineout definitely looked crooked, but was thinking alright that it could have been aided by Ryan jumping in a bit. Munster also had a couple of dodgy looking lineouts that weren't penalised, just theirs didn't amount to anything. Wasn't a fan of JVG's downplaying of the quality of Leinster's try, m...

Re: 6 Nations 2021
Exactly. And even if the fourth choice TH is a bit pissed off about it - I would say the rest of the squad are delighted to have Furlong back in the squad and it will give them that bit more confidence in the team.
