Re: A whiff of Cordite

GT in the IT saying a win up in ravers will send Munster into the hands of the Bulls/Sharks. URC rules say they will play Stormers /Edinburgh. I think the media are thinking a Munster win is donedeal.com, but I think Ulster are waiting in the long grass for them. I have a feeling cards will decide ...

LAR team to play Stade at home this weekend is very much second string: Le XV de départ : Reda WARDI, Facundo BOSCH, Joel SCLAVI, Romain SAZY (cap), Mathieu TANGUY, Rémi BOURDEAU, Matthias HADDAD, Victor VITO, Thomas BERJON, Jules PLISSON, Arthur RETIÈRE, Levani BOTIA, Jonathan DANTY, Pierre BOUDEH...

Re: Ulster 2021/22

I think they lost it with that last try the week before. It looked to me like Vermuelen got a great steal but the penalty went to Toulouse and they scored soon after. I think that extra buffer would have been enough. Ulster are in a tricky place. I don’t think they’ll improve enough up front or at ...

In one word, Yes.
He’s not awful.
He is an amateur, doing the Leaving Cert next month. It is a professional game.

Re: Leinster v Toulouse HC SF Sat 14th May 3:00pm

Agreed, it is a wasted and childish effort. If it were Munster facing into a semi final this weekend I wouldn’t be given Leinster a second thought. Unfortunately I will be sitting in a pub in west Cork shouting on the boys in blue. Whilst it's unfortunate munster didn't make it through that doesn't...

From Leinster twitter "......tickets sales have now gone beyond 39,000......." despite Communions/Confirmations and Ed Sheeran’s Mathematics Tour last week a busload arrived in red [40,479 (Munster & Stade supporters both preferring red jerseys!)]; looks like we are getting to that nu...

Re: Leicester V Leinster EPCR q/f 2022

Hopefully Raynal will remember to bring his cards this time, unlike last year's quarter final in Exeter. On Newstalk WNR, Gerry Thornley said Raynal had been made aware that 3/6 penalty calls against England were incorrect. The feedback to Raynal might have had a positive tone to the effect that on...

:?: Really looking forward to seeing Roos. Some player. Kitshoff & Malherbe will be a serious test for whoever we select in front row. Likely that McKee will have faced Kitshoff, Malherbe, Ox, Mbonambi and Du Toit on their home turf his first two games as a senior player. That's some baptism of ...

Re: James Lowe signs for Leinster

I've spoken in my diary before that I seem to bring out the best in crowds and at the RDS this past weekend some cheeky fella in red in the 75th minute shouted, 'Where were you last week, Lowe?' Fortunately, from years of being slagged by supporters I always have my wits about me…sometimes you just...

This was the famous match where Felipe had been up all night as his partner was in labour with their first daughter and then he went and did a hospital shift before putting in one of the most amazing outhalf performances I've ever seen. Combine that with debuts for Dev and Sexton - quite a signific...

Re: Leinster V Borders

Is Big Bad Ben injured? Or has he fallen foul of the management? Gissing was injured last weekend according to the IT. Was 50-50 to recover. Think it's a good opportunity to test Toner anyway. It'd be good to see him in the squad next season if he's all he's meant to be. I realise there is a separa...

He is massive, some late developer. It’s actually astonishing how much muscle he’s put on since school. He was half the size in 2019 he didn’t even stand out as big now look at him. Incredible.
