Re: Connacht 2023/24
I mean many of us suspected that, but someone saying it out loud is massive. Is anyone else concerned that Jackman's solution to every problem in Irish rugby is a) signing players from abroad b) moving players within Ireland when he says he's actively in contact with agents? Ireland is a small coun...

Re: Connacht 2023/24
SA fans were saying last season that lions have a great squad of youngsters, who will be a force as time passes. They are probably much better than people realise. News that Leinster tried to sign bealham shows you how hard of a job it is out west. Connacht have a lot of guys around 23yrs old who t...

Re: Ulster 2023/24
Went from £119.5billion to £165.9 billion this year. Another chronic dysfunctionality issue is overspending. Thank you for putting voice to the perspective that throwing more money at something consistently performing worse might not be the best solution. Interesting to see how those defending the ...

Re: Aviva Premiership: something exciting happens
rugbyPass are reporting that Louis Rees-Zammit has already been offered a summer training camp deal by three NFL teams. LRZ ran a 40-yard dash in 4.44 seconds at today’s IPP Pro Day & impressed scouts with his footwork. The deal is reportedly around £900,000 which is incredible....the average p...

Depth charts at TH and LH with ages (my opinion only). Down to 12 just to illustrate depth of players further down the depth chart. TH splits 4/3/3/2 between the provinces. LH splits 5/3/2/2 between the provinces which feels much more concentrated. TH depth chart 5. Salanoa 26 Apart from Illo/Wilso...

It's unfortunate that poor journalism gets more traction than reasoned journalism.

Shame as he's done well. The drop off from Ryan to him in the final last year was continental shelf like. In truth, while he's back playing well, he was hot and cold for us. A bit like Sharks...how are they bottom of the URC with all their talent? I wouldn't be as down on him . decent servant. I do...

Re: Leinster Academy 23-24
Look at what NBA teams do for players movement. A lot of the larger guys have individual movement coaches to reduce injury risk (which they can afford). For a guy the size of Spicer it makes sense to be patient with loading. Don't really follow NBA so was unaware of that. Makes sense I guess. And y...

Re: Leinster's Communications Problem
I don't agree with you there LB. Outside the 12 or so core hurling counties there is little or no interest even within the GAA in intercounty hurling. In fact only recently the GAA wanted to scrap several intercounty hurling teams in Division 4 but had to back down. The standard of a match such as ...

Spicer is a cert for the academy now I think. Always was a cert. This isn't a cut at you Mildly, I suspect you are of the same opinion and just putting it down in writing. Leinster would be guilty of ridiculous over-thinking to overlook a 208cm/130kg lock with Ireland age-grade experience and an ex...

Jack O'Sullivan seems to have not grown since he was an U20. Just came through early and hit his max size. Not sure if Munster rugby have failed update his weight since he was U20 or if he is the same size as he was as an U20. I'd actually believe the second option. I was chatting to a person who w...

O'Connor is obviously a superb athlete but his multi-code focus has stunted his rugby intelligence i reckon ..... any other Irish back would have made the right pass for that try that got butchered ..... and he did the same against Italy Ah c’mon! This is a total over reaction. The lad is under 20....

Some new gear launched on Leinster Store https://shop.leinsterrugby.ie/collections/23-24-lifestyle-collection When Le Coq Sportif came back to France a few years back I was surprised how expensive the merch was. Re: 6N Ireland Wales - Dublin 2:15pm Sat 24 Feb
Watched the match again yesterday and one of the things I noticed is that the players seem to be wearing different socks or am I imagining it? Some with more white than others? A lot of players will wear ankle strapping or have additional grip socks over the team socks. Crowley here with something ...
