Re: Autumn Nations Cup - TV
Great news. Was considering getting a free trial month for Prime just for this....but I'd only end up not cancelling and ending up with yet another TV/Streaming bill!

Re: Rugby on the Box
Was just about to google whether the U20 match was on telly or not, but then remembered this thread existed! God bless you Neil!
Only question, is sky sports mix free to air or part of the sky sports package?

I thought it was Shane Williams who picked Carty for homme du match, not Heaslip?

Re: Pro14 Final Glasgow v Leinster 18.30 Sat 25th May
Baudelaire, Baudelaire. Adrian de la Touche here. TG4 works fine on a VPN in France (I've used tunnelbear and Hola, before I became aware of how bad it is). I hope you enjoy your weekend in the country. Laissez-moi respirer longtemps, longtemps, l'odeur de tes cheveux! Thank you kind sir, I will go...

Re: Pro14 Final Glasgow v Leinster 18.30 Sat 25th May
Will be over in France on my jollies for the match. I assume my best bet to watch is a stream (as I won't have the option of a pub)?
Would anyone know if the full geo-blocked content of the TG4 player works with a VPN blocker abroad?

Re: Towns Cup
Yes was a good game, Wicklow played very well. Left some chances behind in the first half and possibly played bit too much rugby in there own half in the second half. Wicklow 12 was great, I thought their 7 was MOM myself. Still scratching my head on the scrum penalty awarded to Enniscorthy towards...

Thanks again for all the replies.
I procured 4 tickets for the Terrace...and then they promptly sold out. Rest of the crew are going for the North Stand!

Re: Leinster tickets on Ticketmaster
Thanks for the reply's folks!! Must have been a glitch as it's all working perfectly now. Dragon's match is on my bday, so a perfect start to the evening! Would people recommend the Anglesea Terrace over the North/South stand? Should be a few of us, so which would be the best for getting seats toget...

Leinster tickets on Ticketmaster
Didn't know where to stick this (so mods please delete or move at will) but anyone else having problems with purchasing match tickets on Ticketmaster at the moment? Trying to get tickets for the Dragon's match and the page just seems to be stuck on loading and doesn't let you select the seats or the...

Re: Munster 2017 -2018
I see O'Mahony bigging up the "incredible" Carberry today. It's started. What did you honestly expect him to say? Carbery's a young chap starting in a key position for Ireland against Australia in Oz. Of course the captain is going to big him up as much as possible. Should he have said 'A...

Re: Ireland V West England Saturday 24th February @ 14:15
I am done with having both POM and CJ in the same back row for Ireland. It is far too limiting a combo in terms of a lack of distribution skills in contact. POM gives us a great additional line-out option but CJ in particular means that so much of our possession goes up Cul-de-Sacs. The contrast be...

Re: Leinster League 2017/2018
Wicklow have recruited both George Naoupu as head player/coach and Former Blackrock coach Billy Ngawini as backs player/coach. Recruited a couple of other players too afaik, so should be able to compete in 1A this season.

Re: Ireland v France Sat 25th Feb 2017 4.50pm
Ah yes absolutely! The drop off from Murray to AN Other is further than that from Sexton to Jackson though.
My point was more that you'd still be starting a player who hadn't played in a while, as the importance they have in the set up far out-weighs any risk involved.

Re: Ireland v France Sat 25th Feb 2017 4.50pm
And I would say the exact same were Murray to miss a few games and Marmion did decent in his absence. As soon as Murray was deemed fit, he'd be straight back into the starting XV, and rightly so. This is exactly it. If Murray was being drafted straight back in following an absence there would be ab...

Re: Italy v Ireland 2017
I'm no lip reading expert but Heaslip seemed to say something along the lines of "well f**k them then" (from what I could see on the telly box) before heading towards the tunnel at the end of the match. Perhaps the Azurri weren't adhering to the acceptable post match etiquette by staying i...

Does anyone know if this is on telly?
I've had a gander around the interweb but all I can find is Sky showing the England v Barbarians match.

Re: Emerging Ireland
I agree that today has been a waste but let's at least until the tournament is over to decide if it's worth it or not. I've no issue with us sending a team purely to help other countries develop btw, but obviously that's not going to happen if we hose teams like this. How is this and the Tiblisi to...
