Re: Leinster vs Castres
Well a win is a win. Got the bp handy enough. I couldn't spake after the gray incident. Mitrea's a bottless got! My nominees for motm were McFadden, Moore and kearneys X 2. A few others went well. Does Heaslip need to worry about Conan?........Yes, more than the guys who came before! I didn't think...

Munster 2014/2015
A tad precious. There's clearly an appetite to discuss it. I am not a particular fan of it and have little doubt Foley will still be in place next season but it's ludicrous to refuse to allow discussion of coaching alternatives when Munster have lost 5 of their last 6 games. That is an unprecedente...

Re: Leinster vs Castres
Really happy for McGrath to get a try. He's some player if he can do that. Great line by Fanning. I was paying close attention to his passing because a lot of people critique his passing. I thought his passing was exceptional today, that sympathetic inside ball seems to be becoming his trademark. H...

Re: Leinster vs Castres
Wow wow wow, lines, angles, accuracy & offloads, champagne rugby. I guess MOC & the lads dusted the cobwebs off the 'play book' during the week. This is the Leinster we wanted to see.

Re: Munster 2014/2015
Munster are looking terrible, no penetration, aimless kicking, just negative rugby with no offensive gameplan. Too easy for Saracens.

Re: Munster 2014/2015
Unfortunately that's the difference between a world class operator and a very good player. Try to Saracens, extremely poor by Conway & Hurley. Too easy for Ashton..johng wrote:Hargreaves should have scored at the start. Just Keatley between him and the line and he froze.

Re: Munster 2014/2015
Jeez D Williams is having a dreadful start. All Saracens ventures into Munster's 22 have come from woeful play by Williams. A poor blocked box kick & trying to side step Ashton in his 22. Terrible decision making.

Re: Cardiff v Leinster 10/01/15
Absolute TRIPE! Terrible half hearted tackling, Reid & Te'o leaving gaping holes in midfield. No depth on attacks, just simple one up runners who are being simply marshalled by Cardiff. Back row has no balance and is losing the physical battle. And the handling skills in the final third are non ...

Re: Liverpool Thread
Does Brendan Rodgers irritate other Liverpool supporters? Article today in the IT with him saying that he wants an FA cup send off for Gerard. Ok fair enough to want it but could you please just say nothing? It doesn't bother me that he enjoys talking to the media and discussing football and tactic...

Re: Leinster V Ulster January 3rd
Jordi's days as an 8 at Leinster are numbered, Conan is the heir apparent and if wish to keep him he will have to be getting the starts at 8 that Heaslip doesn't take. Then it comes down to 7, SOB will be 1st choice when healthy and available, Jenno is nearing the end of his career and we will need...

Re: Leinster V Ulster January 3rd
Quick question to all you out there: Jordi Murphy; what is his best position. Long term I can't see it being at 6 or 8 with so much competition. Personally I'd like to see him get a run at 7. What do you think? Are there any 7's coming through the academy?. Eh....did you not notice the one on the p...

Leinster V Ulster January 3rd
Some of the stuff that is being said on here is comical. The thought of someone suggesting Conan is better than Heaslip is down right stupid. Yes he was brilliant today, but he wasn't brilliant last week. The guy is a talent, no doubt about it, I was in awe of him in the B&I last season as well ...

I wasn't having a go at you for accentuating the positives, I was just writing what I saw :) . Conan & Van De Flier are looking good & combative. Understood..... and agree 100%.......Jordi also going a lot better than down in Thomond. Lots to enthuse about today (whilst acknowledging plenty...

Re: Leinster V Ulster January 3rd
Another great hit there from Fergus..... clearly relishing his return to action. Jamie holding his shoulder it seemed when going off... :( There's NO communication in the 15, Kirchner & Kearney - then there with Kearney & Boss. It just seems that the players are spending half the game clean...
