Re: Leinster V Ulster in the Aviva for Rabo Games?
I'd be very surprised if a good crowd size from Ulster did not decend on the Aviva. The trip is regarded as very easy now a days and using train and coach offers would surely cut costs. A lot will depend on form of both, but the is equally true with Leinster v Munster. A key point however is that Ul...

Re: Leinster V Ulster in the Aviva for Rabo Games?
The RDS was full according to the Pro 12 official website. I dont think the Munster diaspora in Dublin is particularly valid. A trip to Dublin from Belfast only takes 1.5 hours, while the fresh and more enticing game between Leinster and Ulster would draw in more "fringe" supporters. The U...

Re: Leinster v Treviso
Hard to see where next for Hagan. Stay with Leinster(if he's offer a new contract) and remain at risk of being over taken by Moore and Furlong in the near future or leave. I think Hagan needs to leave Ireland tbh. He's made very little progress in the last 4 years despite his rated potential. A spel...

Re: Leinster v Treviso
Obviously the IRFU don't even understand Healy's banning, quite embarrassing really! Good to see McGrath given a good shot. I always feel sorry for Cronin at this time of the year, he is so often judged on a final 5 minutes in the international matches. Interesting call on Hagan, but a hierarchy nee...

Re: Wales V'S Ireland
McLaughlin is an overrated tackler, he misses more than his fair share for a 6. He's way behind in terms of Irish jerseys. NZ wouldn't agree with you. POM is an over-rated ball carrier btw. McLaughlin is a very good player but he often misses crucial tackles. Look at the Heineken Cup Final in...

Re: Wales V'S Ireland
McLaughlin is an overrated tackler, he misses more than his fair share for a 6. He's way behind in terms of Irish jerseys. What's everyone's view on Gilroy? Some are suggesting he should be dropped for Fitzgerald. I thought he had a good game and should be retained, but equally I'd love to see Fitzg...

Re: Ireland Squad for Six Nations....
No Madigan, No Marshall! Trimble's exclusion is a big call but the competition for winger is fierce! Has the Trimble ship sailed? I can't really see how Earl's is going to fit into the squad, and in all honesty I don't think he's done anything to deserve a place. Kidney will however of course make ...

Re: Start Madigan v wasps
I don't think Madigan should simply walk into the team now. Its time to use Madigan a lot more wisely but Sexton is still our number one fly half. No one is bigger than the team but lets not simply make Madigan our first choice, Sexton is still here! Id look to see how Madigan plays during the 6 Nat...

Re: Contract renewals
Sean Henry moving to Connacht would suggest that Cronin is staying here. http://www.connachtrugby.ie/2013012283175/sean-henry-to-come-to-connacht Yeah, all but does alright. Good player, he and Harris-Wright should have a good battle for the top slot. Might be a good player but is it really what Co...

Re: We're in the Amlin now. Ohooh We're in the Amlin, now
I think some people need to give this competition some credit. It's silverware and should targeted fully! Playing academy players and anything short of a relative full strength team is degrading the tournament and the position Leinster find themselves in.

Re: Leinster v Exeter
Firstly it's got to be said that getting the bonus point at Sandy Park is an achievement in itself, but like so many times this year, we left a lot out on the pitch and that's always disappointing. Healy was again Immense, Cullen had a great game, Heaslip is showing good form, O'Brien looks strong, ...

Re: Ireland Squad for Six Nations....
I dont think Henderson should be considered ahead of Stevenson, and possibly Toner for the second row bench spot. Hendersons a great player but at the moment I don't see him as a second row. Stevenson has been on very good form and provides some real grunt and power.

Re: Dave kilcoyne question?
Kilcoyne is doing very well, he certainly brings Munster some much needed energy. However he just needs a few more challenges scrum wise. What Kilcoyne's selection in Autumn has done is given Tom Court a great piece of motivation. Previously, Court was a good player in a secure position on the bench...

Re: Michael Bent
It's strange considering how impressive he was when coming on against SA in November, since then he's been underwhelming. Having said that, I do feel that we often except to much of players like Bent. He was signed after an impressive cameo in the ITM, however I believe there is a misconception in c...

Re: The RDS 'Faithful'
As much as love seeing a crowd fired up, in high spirits filling any stadium, people need to stop judging the passion and quality of fans based on interpretations from within the stands. We managed to pack out the RDS in good voice and will our team onto a crucial result. It's not about how load you...

A really good performance and considering we were missing SOB, Jennings, Ryan, O'Malley, Nacewa, Fitz, Kearney, Conway and the likes of Ruddock and Baby Keaney were just returning from long injuries you can't be too displeased. Really happy with the penetration and use of width.... Passes were stick...

Re: Scarlets V Leinster
While you're all panicking, remember you can lose the HEC at this stage, but you can't win it. I nicked that from SKY BTW  If memory serves me correctly our first two HEC wins were preceded by a fairly average performance in the pool stages. Last season was different. At this stage of the sea...

Re: Choppy Water Ahead?
What must be understood is that Munster have a far greater depth problem than Leinster. Firstly when you look at current Ireland Junior squads the vast majority of players are from Ulster (who appear to have possibly the brightest future out of all the provinces) and Leinster. I was not long ago loo...
