Re: Heineken Cup Final BluRay
They must have had enough feedback on how utterly appalling last years offering was. Poor editing, they completely stuffed up the Leicester match, didn't show their try towards the end and missed any sense of the excruciating tension at the end of that match. So given what I've seen here so far, I'm...

Re: New Jersey
given that the main jersey isn't going to change are they going to issue one specifically for the Heineken like 2010/2011. They will want to have some way of keeping merch sales up and that's a good way. I guess the training jersey above could probably do the job.

Re: Joe Schmidt - A Master at work
He obviously puts a lot in to the job. Was comparing a recent pic with one after the Clermont quarter final at the RDS and he isn't as fresh-faced as he was then. It must be nice having a good squad, but I'd say the anxiety levels are still astronomical.

Re: RDP Final
Thought yesterday's game was a great match...didn't feel like a final though...certainly didn't have the butterflies like I had at Twickenham. The Ulster guys in front of me last week told me they were just happy to be there and anything else was a bonus. They looked utterly crestfallen at the final...

Re: Slug & Lettuce @ Richmond - WARNING
English barmen are dreadful in general. They're unable to take more than one order at a time. We wound up in a boozer called A Hope on Kew Road as the usual suspects were jammed, The Orange Tree was dangerous inside (preferred it before they did it up). It had the most watered down booze I have ever...

Re: Contentious Justin Marshall article on Leinster win/IR v
I have no doubt Brad Thorn has been the consummate pro in training. He was been excellent on the pitch for us and his presence has been a huge boost for the limited time we have had him. Would we have won the Cup without him? We'll never know but he played 80 minutes in both the semi and the final ...

Re: Contentious Justin Marshall article on Leinster win/IR v
I have a very good idea who it was. Nothing wrong with a gobby loosie in the side, nothing wrong with someone being brought down to size every now and then either. All sides have differing pesonalities....I've worked / played in successful teams who have had their fair share of dickheads...Don't see...

Re: Munster - WUM's
Speaking of the rag (Indo) and sensationalism and jumping on a marketed theme, whats happened Wardy? Hasn't written a piece in a while I believe I think the indo are gradually moving some commentator's pieces off line and only publishing them in the print edition. Of late I've noticed that pieces b...

Bank of Ireland Sponsorship
How long does the Bank of Ireland sponsorship have to run? I'm glad Leinster has a sponsor, but I'm not sure it looks good on the outside that a bailed out bank is the main sponsor. Seeing Richie Boucher's mug in the programme for the cardiff match last month spoiled my enjoyment for about 2 minutes...

Re: How can we emulate the Clermount fans?
It's not like Molly is so overused that we're singing it all day long. We should try and get it started before games start. I've always thought that there are a few U2 songs that would work well, like the streets have no name. it's rare you ever hear anyone singing U2 songs at parties or sing songs...

Just watched the highlights....was able to enjoy it this time...nearly put a chair through the window during the last five minutes....that was some effort to hold them out at the end. Wonderful character.

Funny how a number of people on both this thread and on the Leinster v Ulster thread have commented on the booing independently. It happened. i know it did. your 'to a man' shout is utter bollix couple hundred max "To a man" is OTT but from the sofa in my sitting room, with my 5.1 surroun...

Re: Ravenhill
I was at the game as a guest of a mate who is an Ulster fan. We were in the Promenade on the 22 near the Memorial end. There were an isolated few idiots - and no more - who booed him a few rows behind us, and the Ulster guys that I was standing with were disgusted at them.

Re: Ulster V Leinster
Ireland fans, take your time tonight to watch Lewis Stevenson. This guy is potentially a late-career international in the making. His workrate is incredible - huge tackle count every time I've seen him. He's 6'5" ish, so a little short of ideal height. But I'd have him down in Dublin to replac...

I would say that JK Rowling, and Stephanie Meyer are very worried as judging by his pieces in the Indo there is no greater writer of fantasy in the world today than Hugh Farrelly

Re: Ireland v Italy
I don't want to knock Murray but he did all the bad stuff that I would normally associate with O'Leary when clearing the ball from the ruck. He didn't just check to see if the coast was clear he used a frickin periscope as well.
