Re: Leinster's Halfback Options going forward
Advantages of socialism relating to social equality include a focus on reducing wealth disparities, unemployment and inflation (through price controls). Advantages of socialism related to economic planning include an ability to make good use of land, labor and resources, as well as avoiding excess o...

Re: EPCR SEMI-FINAL V CLERMONT
Really frustrated by the staccato nature of that game. It looked to me near the end that Clemont where making a double substitution and each player walked on individually in separate transactions. On at least 3 occasions there was no ball to be found. I haven't seen as much water taken on board sinc...

Re: EPCR SEMI-FINAL V CLERMONT
Anyone get the sense that Adam Byrne is subject to a bit of racial profiling when it comes to his selection....... Almost a bit like - He's black, He's tall, He's Young = He has to be fast on the wing. Pick him ! Adam is a good player but you can see that he is late to the game. Positionally in defe...

Just a quick weather update for Sunday. Looks absolutely perfect with 18c & sunny, albeit a small bit of wind but nothing too significant.

On the losing side I would like to give a special mention to Tiernan O'Hallrahan. Really hope he puts himself firmly into Joe's plans over the summer. Thought he was very good last night especially on the attacking side of the game.

Re: EPCR SEMI-FINAL V CLERMONT OR TOULON
Bit disappointed in the lack of size of the stadium selected to host the Semi Final. Last time we played Clermont it was in Bordeaux with a 35,000 capacity and the place was rammed. Despite it being a 2-3 hour drive from Clermont. Lyon is half that distance and the stadium only takes 25,000. Going t...

Roy Webster's Leinster Tracksuit
Anyone see this guy going in and out of court every day wearing a Leinster tracksuit ? He's just been found guilty of murder. I keep on thinking to myself "take off that tracksuit would ya". Could Leinster Rugby legally have asked him to do so ?

Re: Scotland v. Ireland
I don't typically put up betting advice on this forum but seen as this price should be readily accessible to most I think I might as well. 60% chance of rain on Saturday which will suppress scoring. Any game in which scoring is suppressed increases the likelihood of a draw. There is not a whole lot ...

Re: European Rugby Champions Cup
I might be going a bit off topic here so apologies.... If the RWC 2023 thing gets the go ahead you wonder might they consider at some point in time in the future doing a dry run in Fitzgerald Stadium or Pairc Ui Chaoimh in the build up. Say year 2022 Munster qualify for a home 1/4 final would they c...

Re: Toner & ?
You're going to get exceptions to the rule of course. I know Leinster a few years back had a route 66 initiative where they were asking any lads 18-21 who also measured at 6ft 6 or taller to come in for a trial even without any rugby playing experience. They clearly see it as a mark to work by.

If you're not 6''6 or taller you're not a 2nd row option in my booklummix wrote:What about jack Conan as a second row. He's 6 foot 4. Nearly 18 stone and with heaslip signing on for another 3 years I think we will lose him to another province if we don't do something.

Re: Munster v Leinster St Stephen's Day 5.30 Sky/TG4
Regarding Healy the guy seriously needs to get back to doing the basics well. Even when he came on against the All Blacks during the AI one of the first things he done was to try and do a 2 person skips pass which ended up in us giving field position of 50m. Irelands incredible penalty count over th...

Re: Montpellier v Leinster - Sunday 14.00 CET/13.00 Irish ti
I thought the standard of Kicking was poor on both sides. It felt like Montpellier didn't make touch with one penalty. Thought Leavy's cameo at the end was good. Tracey looks a stone short of being able to compete at the highest level. Kirchner is so 6/10 in all facets of the game. If we have a big ...

I seen Isa the other day with some Leinster guys. I thought he might have been long gone home by now. Am I clutching at straws or is he waiting on a passport or something ?
