Re: A whiff of Cordite

Having just now finished Dune 2, I think I could go for this "prostrating themselves before our greatness" - big time!!! You are aware as Gay Byrne put it many years ago. "A nation of begrudgers" So don't hold your breadth. On that topic the late, great Breandán Ó hEithir ...

The obsession they have is really weird. They? There are pages of stuff here about ROG in every thread, on top of which he even has a thread dedicated to him. The reason the media write about him isn't that they're obsessed with him - they couldn't give a cr@p about ROG - the reason they write abou...

Re: 6 Nations 2024

According to the official Guinness fantasy rugby stats, Billy Billy didn't touch the ball once v England and only made one tackle - not very impressive stats for someone who played 80 minutes in a back line that ran a lot of ball. Of course he does. Why not have a trawl? I'll spare you the clip from last weekend of RB's 'link play etc' being ...

Seems like yesterday, in ways. Spring 2021.

Re: England v Ireland Saturday 9th March 2024 4.45pmTwickenham

:!: Can't see the argument for starting Baird, presumably at 6, ahead of the captain. How about Baird’s now better at many of the things that POM is favoured for- lineout, maul disruption, general awkwardness, etc. and much better at several skills that O’Mahoney never displayed: open field running...

Do we need to accommodate that many journalists? I don’t think that we do…

Can't think of any Ulsterman that made that move previously. Philip Matthews aside, fairly sure he continued playing for Ulster.
Anyone?
