Re: Sexton's last season? Outhalf going forward..
Frawley at 10 for Ireland. Glad to see it. Looks like the best option there. Frustrating Leinster don’t think so. Hopefully not another Carbery situation. Far as I know he's only playing 10 tomorrow because of an Injury to Harry so I wouldn't get my hopes up. In reality I think it would have made m...

Re: Leinster exiles, where are they.
Quote from the man himself. Never say never and all that but I think it's pretty clear where his preference lies: “I think I’ve made it pretty clear in the last couple of years that I want to be an All Black. I’ve put a lot of effort into it, I’ve stayed in New Zealand. “This is my sixth year in Sup...

Re: A whiff of Cordite
I just read a typically snide preview of yesterday’s Ireland game by Gav Cummiskey. Nice to put him in his place with a thumping 3-0 win  Catching up on the papers from this week and in his match report he said “mercifully, Shane Duffy is done for the summer after another yellow card”. How lon...

Re: United Rugby Championship
Final is sold out apparently (31k+). Hard to see this years URC as anything but a success. Not perfect, but a success by most measures.
Anyone who still thinks it's a cr@p league....... well I don't know what to tell ye!

Re: New contracts for coaching ticket
David Havili of the Crusaders speaking very well of Andrew Goodman after their final this morning. Said he was one of the best coaches he's ever had. Good to hear. He's coming from a winning environment too. That can't be bad.

Re: Leinster Squad 21-22
Ngatai signing confirmed. Good capture, he's clearly a leader and will add power and a different option across our backline. He's predominately a 12 but also plays 13/15 as well and will add a lot of power to our backline in the absence of Lowe/Henshaw. With ROL, Byrne, COB, Hawkshaw off he's basic...

Re: Leinster v Bulls Friday RDS 19:35 TG4
Been thinking about this for a while but Friday really brought it to the fore. It's a bit of a whine but the seasons over now so I thought, "well fup it, I might as well put it out there" :D The general trend or talk in World Rugby is to try to speed up the game in order to look to reduce ...

Re: Rumour Mill
Hearing a rumor that Andrew Goodman is coming to replace PC as Backs coach. A friend told me he seen it on twitter, so I'm on the hunt

Re: Ulster 2021/22
I know the phrase used by a lot of coaches when they talk about the difference between winning and losing is "The top two inches" but really, for the Irish provinces in knockout competition this season, you've got to be talking in millimeters.
Once again, so close!

Re: Leinster v Bulls Friday RDS 19:35 TG4
We lost that game purely and simply because our lineout was appalling. Can only remember us winning three clean lineouts and we scored off two of them. I think to say our lineout was appalling, you have to give huge credit to the Blues there. They took a risk and put a huge amount of bodies into th...

Re: Leinster v Bulls Friday RDS 19:35 TG4
LL I don’t think that’s true tbh, even when we annihilate teams there’s still lots of criticism. Just one thought I’m going to throw out there that could potentially improve things and have nothing to do with power. Should we be looking at bringing in a new coach with particular expertise on the ma...

Re: Leinster v Bulls Friday RDS 19:35 TG4
Someone should but together a list of what the issues are according to this forum. From lack of power, to lineout issues, bad skills, concentrating to much on skills and not enough on physical contact, concentrating too much on trying to be physical and forgetting our skills, no viable second scrum...

Re: Leinster v Bulls Friday RDS 19:35 TG4
Too many rubbish opponents like Zebre, Dragons and Munster Good one. I forgot about that one the 'quality of the opposition' :D It'll be good to have it listed in case the coaching team are looking in. They won't need to search around. Don't forget no Will Skelton... although that's probably covere...
