Re: Stormers v Leinster - Sat 27 April 18.05 - TG4
Turner on the wing is a odd one. We could be in for a paddling here. On point one ..... not that odd. He's played there for us before (on more then one occasion I'm sure. Might have even started there). On point two .....quite possible alright. As the Australians might say "Brace yourself, She...

Re: A whiff of Cordite
To be honest I think it's a very telling article on ROG. In the week before the LAR game I kept reading the phrase "ROG is living rent free in Leinster supporters heads" (which for some may have had more then a small element of truth about it). However, It sounds from that article that Le...

Re: 2023/24 URC Fixtures
Stormers v Leinster: Based on last week's display against the Lions there is little reason to believe that Leinster have any chance in this SA fortress. But straight away, one must take account of Ospreys great win in the Stormers den, previously an absolute fortress in the URC. Verdict Away win, b...

Re: A New Era 2023/24 season and beyond: Front Row
I liked what I saw of Murphy. I probably would have cut Foley (too injury prone) for him personally. I agree through that we couldn't carry 4 senior scrumhalves. Murphy to Conn is slightly strange though. The one thing they seem to have in spades down there are good and potentially good scrum-halve...

Re: Stormers v Leinster - Sat 27 April 18.05 - TG4
Yeah I'm normally optimistic (I was confident we'd beat LAR) but I'm writing this off. I think Leo / JN etc. had decided to throw this game under the bus from a long way back (similar to the bulls game last year) and I can't see anything changing now. I don't see them sending our a 'rescue squad' th...

3 points separates 5 to 11. squeaky bum time for Connacht & Ulster for the playoffs.

Not sure the selection was so bad, the performance was just terrible. A total sh1t show. Leinster had 62% possession, 73% territory, 232 passes vs 86 for Lions, Lions made 164 tackles vs 67 for Leinster - yet Lions carried for 449m vs 370m for Leinster and scored 44 points vs 12. Just shows how bad...

Mind you anther way of looking at that is that maybe LAR just aren’t very good right now. Re: Lions v Leinster - Sat 20 April, 14.00 - RTE2
Paddy Power still have the Lions as 4 point favourites for this. I am famously rubbish at gambling but that seems a mad price for Leinster? I really dunno - Lions have been very good this season and the altitude is such a leveler (if that makes sense!) I'd have it as very tight, and could easily go...
