Re: Leinster v. Ulster, Rainbow Cup, Fri 14 May, 20.15hrs

What is the point of the goal line drop out after being held up? Seems like you are punishing the attacking side for going after a try. remember thinking that was odd too. Was it lost forward? i.e. instead of a 5 yard scrum for defending team they get a goal line drop out. Nope. It's a bit like a "...

Re: Leinster v. Ulster, Rainbow Cup, Fri 14 May, 20.15hrs

Well there’s certainly no confusion now as to Leinster’s intentions in the Rainbow Cup. Like Munster, Leinster have again selected a very strong squad showing that they are not treating this as a development tournament as hoped for by many supporters. This is shaping up to be a cracking game, but I...

Re: 2021 Lions

I think Tadgh Beirne will definitely get it He's certainly on most people's list and he has the advantage of being versatile. But... I worry that as a lock he's just too lightweight against the Saffers. And as a second row / 6 he is vying with Itoje and Henderson. I can see one crossover back 5, po...

Re: Champions Cup 2020 / 21

Before the Nigels took over there were only 6 or 7 French and 6 or 7 English. The rest were done by country but it was a shitload of pro12. I'd have to look it up to say exactly but it was something like 3 or 4 Irish (I Think we had all 4 a couple of times) 3 or 4 Welsh. Both Scots Both Italians. I...

Re: Season Tickets 2021/22

For a first timer possibly bringing a 12 year old, terrace or stand - thoughts? You can't buy a terrace junior ticket. So you would have to but a full price ticket and take your chances. With a 12 year old you'll probably get challenged half the time... Particularly the busier games. I think the ag...

I got the email on the 22nd about season tickets and was expecting an email on Monday with further details but didn't get anything.
The mail said they were open from Tuesday if I remember - if you log into your account you'll see the invoice available to pay

Re: Rumour Mill

Thst a difficult one to understand. Relegation threatened club next year for sure. If he was still involved with Ireland then he’s gone for Autumn and 6 Nations. Is he really going to give up playing for Ireland? The whole thing doesn’t add up No relegation next year (at least). Enough cash and it ...

Anything concrete on that MI? Sounds a bit like agent kite flying
It was thrown out on the Eggchasers podcast - but it came from the fact that Worcester flagged they planned to announce a prop this week and they were discussing who is around

ROG is still very young, and if the stars align in the future, you would imagine that he will be coaching in Ireland at some stage.
Fixed that for you

Re: Munster Rugby - Semi Conscious, the Series Finale??? - 2020/21

ROG signs a new three year deal at LAR. Won't be back in Munster until 2024/5 season at the earliest. Delighted for ROG. The easy option would have been to stay in Ireland and try to work his way up the ranks, but each move he has made has been far from the easy option. On his current trajectory it...

Re: Season Tickets 2021/22

Interestingly, quite a few of my friends who wouldn't have season tickets but would go to some games have asked when ST's are going to be sold. I wonder if demand for ST's might be quite high this year There's an 'expression of interest' list opened for non season ticket holders - they should sign ...

Re: Munster Rugby - Semi Conscious, the Series Finale??? - 2020/21

Zebo is a good player and Munster fans love him. Was fullback a big position of need for them? No it wasn't. They'll wind up with a bit of wastage in the back three, but to be honest they had that once they signed Gallagher. Yes I would rather have seen Munster sign .... or a big dynamic hooker, bu...

If he manages to get into an Ireland squad I can see himself and James Lowe hitting it off. I don't see him ousting Keenan though
I'm not sure - could see it being a bit spiky between the two of them if they play against each other. Quite similar in some ways

Re: Munster Rugby - Semi Conscious, the Series Finale??? - 2020/21

Brilliant news. For some reason he is not rated by some on here, but the man is a great player in mine and most other opinions. It's not that he's not rated - I think everyone acknowledges that Zebo in form is pretty special. I think what people on here don't rate is the rating of him at times when...
