I'd say you'd really despair if you were an Ospreys fan. Gallagher is killing them.
Very true. He's been bad for both sides but he's screwing Ospreys over.

Re: Ulster Rugby - 2020-21 Season

Have to say, I really despair at the abysmal officiating in some games and this one is a prime example. I'd say the players have no clue what's going on or what they're allowed to do. As for the offside line....

Re: A whiff of Cordite

The top Irish provinces have great setups with large S&C teams, loads of coaches, resources for a big squad and a good tradition of personal discipline (nutrition, recovery etc.). That’s a nice advantage generally, but in such disruptive circumstances it’s bigger than ever. No crowds, pay cuts, hea...

It's the age old Irish Inferiority complex. Leinster win the Pro14 three years in a row.....Just proves that the league is sh!te. The same naysayers were saying the same thing a few years back when there of 4 different successive winners. How about a positive spin for a change...... Leinster are re...

Re: Connacht 2019/20/21

Both Jack Carty and Andrew Brace having a bit of a shocker in tonight's game! Brace yes, but not Carty in the game I watched. His choice of options in the multi-phase passage leading to Wootam's second try was precisely what Ireland need from a play maker. Connacht hustled that win against a physic...

Re: 6 Nations 2021

Andy Farrell is going nowhere because the Union cant afford to change even if they were inclined to. I really like Farrell as a person and hope he comes good. In my opinion there’s been encouraging signs this year, but we’re still so bloody blunt in attack. Loads of posession with bary any tries to...

Keith Earls is believed to have agreed a new one-year deal with the IRFU to remain with Munster for at least another season and others among the seven Irish international players whose central contracts expire this summer are also close to completing their negotiations. Like Earls (33), Johnny Sext...

RoG on Lowe and defence "It is undeniable that James Lowe was the central figure for the George North and Louis Rees-Zammit scores. The winger kicked beautifully and added a positive dimension to Ireland’s attack but his defensive decision-making in those instances need further scrutiny and explain...

Some of the headline stats from ESPN are quite a bit different from those tweeted by Leinster - but they're interesting in light of some of the inaccurate and downright biased media reporting on the game: Munster Leinster 1 Tries 1 1 from 1 Conversion goals 1 from 1 1 from 3 Penalty goals 2 from 2 ...

Re: Munster Away 26/12 19:35 Eir Sport 1

Stats, Munster : Leinster

Tries 1 : 1
Possession 50 : 50
Metres gained 169 : 273
Tackles 180 : 195
Clean breaks 2 : 3

In this case the scoreline was a pretty decent reflection of the stats.

One of the panelists on RTE Radio post-match made no bones about the fact that he was absolutley gutted by the result.
In his opinion, Munster man for man have a better squad than Leinster.
I thought that that was an interesting comment.
Doesn't surprise me. These guys are still living in 2006.

Re: Munster Away 26/12 19:35 Eir Sport 1

Besides the win, I think again we showed we're not as good a team as perhaps many on here think we are. That was a scrappy win lit up by a slightly fortunate but well executed try. Poor start, lineout let us down again and plenty of unforced errors. I believe we've gone backwards quite a bit since ...
