Re: Towns Cup

Anyone got an idea on when the round 3 matches will be played? Or has this even been decided yet?

Re: Remax leinster League

Right, goin to predict with my head and not my heart. Clondalkin v Portarlington. Big game for both sides, Clon have been shakey at times, Port to win. Clane v Mullingar. Mullingar win, Clane could well struggle to stay up unless they pull it out of the bag here, but Mullingar seem to have found a b...

Re: Remax leinster League

Well its like this there could be two ail div 3 teams coming into division 1 next year so never mind the standard this year you'll have two very big clubs who will have a point to prove!! Also with ulster juniors are so strong and have cash to burn so it looks like a fight to the death for the play...

Re: Remax leinster League

but would the top 4 teams in div 2 survive in div 1 Dont be fooled div 1 is a totally different prospect to what it was last year. Good strong mid table sides are now now league strugglers!! There is not too many bonus points floating around and every match is as hard both at home and away. I respe...

Re: Remax leinster League

With 3 of my 5 predicitions right for Div 2 at the weekend I think I was letting my heart lead my head in predicting Ashbourne and Portarlington to be beaten... I was hoping that they'd slip up and come back to the chasing pack. The run in for the second spot in the league is going to be tight. Cons...

Re: Remax leinster League

The results in Division 2 can depend on the availability of 1 or two players. Having seen most teams, there would appear to be very little between them with the exception of NK. Port appear to have the division wrapped up and I'm sure they will win the division but it could get closer before the en...

Re: Remax leinster League

To be fair to Jimi he did state earlier that the incident didnt merit being called an "assault". It was another poster who deemed it an assualt and has since deleted any mention of it from his post. However in relation to the other incident the people involved were given due punishment by ...

Re: Remax leinster League

To be fair I dont see too many criticising the referees performance,I talked to some of the Ash players afterwards and their opinion was that they were too illdisciplined and most the penalties awarded were fair enough! The alledged assault took place when one of the Ashbourne players retrieved a ba...

Re: Remax leinster League

You're entitled to your opinion Boss. But I'm even more curious to find out what the "assault" was considering you're neutral, because if you were from Ashbourne I could pass it off as being an element of sour grapes. If it was a verbal assault then maybe the sub deserved it, considering h...

Re: Remax leinster League

@ The boss, can you categorise what you mean when you say an "assualt" on a sub. I was at the game too and cant say I observed anymore than the home team supporting their own as you would see at any club where their supporters like to get behind their team. I thought the ref was very fair,...
