Re: RDS bar prices
Yes, God forbid someone should want to make the match experience an entire day out and have a few drinks as part of that; with the liklelihood of getting to their seats three minutes late and wanting to get a jump on the queue by leaving their seat three minutes before half time. Far better that we...

Re: RDS bar prices
Slightly off topic but I wish they'd close the bars during the match. The toing and froing is beyond a joke at this stage, and then getting splashed with beer as the offenders try to manoeuvre back into their seats. Why bother? Can't they have a drink before and after and actually watch the rugby i...

My Dad, whose family hailed from Wicklow, grew up in Longford and went to school in Fermanagh and finally settled in Dublin, always shouted for "Linster", even more so after a few "points".

Murder on a Sunday morning - about a young black man accused of murder based on some really dodgy evidence. Excellent documentary and terrifying too. Catfish - story of an American who befriends a girl on Facebook who is not what she seems. The Pipe - about the Corrib gas pipeline. Will try and thi...

I'm loving the last 4 digits of your number plate! For those of you going via Rosslare, there is a petrol station on the left just after the roundabout that has Leinster flags and Leinster claws. Now, I am a bit sceptical as I don't remember anything like this in 2009 but...I suppose I'll give them ...

Re: Munster's supporters poll gives us 64%
This really doesn't bother me. As someone who spent years attending AIL matches all around Ireland, I always loved going to Limerick and Cork and have great memories of singing "There is an isle" and "Hooray for Garryowen" while more than slightly inebriated. However, if I am hon...

I do feel sorry for her, in all that she has to do on this visit at her age. I watched a clip of her at Croke Park listening to the GAA president and was thinking would someone not give her a chair . God, yes!! I was relieved when she got to sit down to watch the GAA video and couldn't believe that...

I never thought I would have any interest in the visit, but I have to say that the bits I have watched - the tour of Trinity, the Garden of Remembrance and Islandbridge - were very moving.
