Re: Leinster exiles, where are they.
Adam Bryne just opened the score sheet for the Barbarians vs Spain.
Was hoping they'd give the conversion to big Dev, but alas.

Re: Trends
I am only going to say this 100 times: bring back the drop goal off a free kick. Drop goals are a dying art; free-kicks are underpowered and practically useless. Remedy two issues with one solution by bringing back an original law. We'll find out soon enough why it was struck out in the first place...

Re: United Rugby Championship
Yeah, Bulls win because we'd have at least lost to the winners, Roo's loses out because he's a pr!*k, and Munster would have lost to the people who lost to the people who lost the final.

Re: New contracts for coaching ticket
That's not the entire story, although it is a huge plot point. Post Sarries QF we changed how we scrummaged and it seemed to work really well - but we're not using the same techniques anymore, and I'm unsure as to why. But I feel like Robin McBryde has reached the stage that many coaches do, where ...

Re: New contracts for coaching ticket
I'm not on the Robin McBryde hype train. Just not feeling it, to be honest. His hands are tied though by the decision to try to turn a mediocre loosehead who became a world class tighthead back into a loosehead. Because, as we've seen over the last couple of weeks, set pieces have no impact whatsoe...

Re: United Rugby Championship
Yep attendance was capped at 30,000. That's almost as many as the highest previous SF weekend (both games in 2017). The Saffers have put the URC into overdrive. Even the buzz and atmosphere was great. I think they've brought a lot to the comp even in this messed up season. Must admit I'd consider a...

Re: Grahamunster - Graham Rowntree's Munster 2022/2023
Well they do need a tight head, I just wonder if Salanoa had stayed put would he have progressed more? There’s no way to know for sure but given the numbers of young forwards breaking through at a consistent rate you’d have to say the chances are at least more likely than not… I mean, at this point...

Re: Supporters First - Replacing The Scourge of Stadium Announcers
The atmosphere thing is tricky. I do think Irish fans tend to be very conservative and don’t tend to get too into that stuff, unlike the French. But as the French have proven, it doesn’t need to be complicated or flashy or even original. It just needs buy in. I’ve always liked the idea of an Irish ...
