Re: Leinster v. Ulster, Rainbow Cup, Fri 14 May, 20.15hrs

Its to reduce the amount of time lost to scrums - i can see world rugby getting rid of all non-knock on tries in the medium term Not much point having props then if there’s no scrums. I think it’s an important part of the game. And I agree it does seem like you’re punishing the attacking side going...

At least the wolfhound is Irish.
Leinster might have to consider Leo's position.
Leo the Lion that is. Since a Lion is not an indigenous species of the Leinster area we could be accused of cultural appropriation.
Just sayin.

Re: Munster Rugby - Semi Conscious, the Series Finale??? - 2020/21

Rainbow Cup is Munsters to lose at this point. Ulster and Leinster were the main teams they were worried about. The Scots and best Welsh sides have taken derby points from each other. Leinster still have Connacht and Ulster. In the non derby games they may be in position to lose to get their oppone...

Why are we still trying to run through them?

Kick to touch and put pressure on their line out - we have turned over a few all ready.

Re: A whiff of Cordite

On a side note. Eir Sport what a shambles of an organization. Watched 4 nights of The Masters Coverage and every ad break the advertised their own broadband. I am watching it on my Eir Broadband. Surely they could have made a few quid - even a small amount - with ads for anyone else. I was thinking ...

That penalty miss from Parra is peak Clermont.
Just think next season JJ Hanrahan will be missing those kicks for Clermont.

He is so flakey he will fit in perfectly.

Trip to the Aviva planned on Monday for my first shot of vaccine. Not sure if it's a Leinster Jersey day or an Ireland Jersey day. Either way we do expect to see the flag with you You see I thought about bringing the Flag but I felt it was over the top and no one else would think of it. Now I have ...

Two really good 9s and no 10
I would play both 9s at the same time switching them between 9/10.

Could not be any worse.

Jack Carty is a barometer I use to test the rugby intelligence of people and pundits. If they say he should play for Ireland I stop talking to them.

Did Toulon not pull out of their match against Scarlets with less notice?

Re: Munster Rugby - Semi Conscious, the Series Finale??? - 2020/21

Lots of real extremism on this site over the last few days. Munster make the final of the Pro14 with ease, and are one of 2 provinces to still be in Europe’s premier competition due to winning 100% of their games, which also awards them with a coveted home match. But would they have made the Final ...

Keenan should have made that tackle Nah. We're down two men in the backline so he's covering two men. England get that wide and it's a guaranteed try. Plus was he not scrum half at that point. At 24 years old I think he was great today and had a great tournament. The Ireland management stumbled on ...

Re: 6 Nations 2021

Italy's tactics in the line out are stupid.

Scotland lost 6 out of 8 lineouts last week and Italy are not jumping against them. Surely jump just to put them under pressure.
