Still gutted he was robbed of Lions test winning status by injury in 2013.

Re: Ireland vs Scotland, Saturday, 4.45pm
It's fairly mundane Irish Bar, but O'Reillys on Dam Square always shows the match and will have a decent crowd in.

Re: Ireland vs Scotland, Saturday, 4.45pm
Have a bad feeling about Saturday, I do wonder if Ireland will lift themselves,I know they can but I get feeling we could still be a bit shell shocked. I think Scottish backs will do some damage . Hopefully if we outmuscle them up front we should be OK, just have nagging feeling. This is certainly ...

Slattery's on Capel Street used to be. Ah thanks OS but I'll be around Stephens Green area and need to be somewhere straight after the game so Capel St a bit far. What about Sinnots? They will be showing the game, it will probably be very busy but about as close to St Stephen's Green as you can get...

Don't think you could blame Jamie George for any assumption that he's not well liked across the Irish Sea.
Didn't the Munster physio mouth off to him and sure social media is basically a disaster for personal jibes against players.

And the trains in the UK cost an absolute fortune. Way cheaper for me to fly London to Embra this Friday than get a train, for example.

Re: Lions Tour to Australia 2025
Would like to see Bomber as attack coach, but I doubt Racing would release him.
Would assume it will be Catt. Maybe Townsend.
Forwards coach likely to be POC, or maybe Rowntree?
I've heard Rog mentioned but I don't see how he's involved. Jeinks as kicking coach, presumably?

Re: ROG "The Special one"
Regarding the touchline bans. It's hardly a big inconvenience for ROG to watch the match from the coaches box - most coaches do. Personally I think the punishment should be sit in a hotel room across town with no access to a phone for the duration. For the laugh I would let him watch the match but ...

I thought it was pretty good actually. :D Away record in France in the pro era is now... Played 35 lost 20 won 15 Of course Johnny's great kick in 2011 for the draw in Montpellier seemed like a win :-) Yes. Sorry. And 2 x draws. That one and Castres 2017 24 all. So..... played 37 Was behind the opp...

Re: La Rochelle v Leinster Sunday 3.15 TNT Sports
Delighted with the win, but wouldn't be as effusive as most. Could easily have lost that. Joe has to watch his f%~king discipline. Braindead penos will eventually cost us. And he could've been pinged a couple more times. Personally thought RPG had an absolute shocker. The scrum is now predetermined...

Re: Leinster v Sale Sharks RDS Sat 16th 5.30 RTE
Funny to see Sale are top of their league (for whatever that's worth) but have a negative points difference. Wonder what it says about their defence? It shows that they're flat track bullies. Now that the La Roch game is in the bag, we should be targeting top two seeding, same as last year. Whilst ...

Re: La Rochelle v Leinster Sunday 3.15 TNT Sports
Yes possible so, but to me that 'chop tackle their big men' approach works well in theory, but often not in reality. LAR have so many big men it's not like you're targeting one big carrier. Let's be honest, Skelton is the guy that has hurt us continually. Did absolutely nothing in the 2022 final. S...

Re: La Rochelle v Leinster Sunday 3.15 TNT Sports
Connors would be a strange selection for me. They've been minding him for a long time now and he has started one game since May after going off in first minute against Munster. Penny is the form 7 and should be in pole position to replace Josh. Connors would be a real horses for courses selection t...

Re: La Rochelle v Leinster Sunday 3.15 TNT Sports
Just read that we are favourites for this game. That's wild. This crowd are back-to-back European champions, they've beaten us three times in a row in the last three seasons, and they have home advantage. How are we favourites?! Yeah, ally that to the fact that we've lost a generational talent at t...
