Re: Sexton. 3 out of 10 Today. Discuss....

Sextons play has been excellant, kicking out of hand good. His kicking of placed ball % during the 6Ns has not been good enough to hold down the jersey when there is another option. We were all hoping Jonny would nail it down, Ireland would get an other level at outhalf. The problem we have now is ...

Re: 2010 Six Nations top tryscorers....

I wonder what odds PP paid out for Pablo Canavosio on e/w bet?! 2010 RBS 6 NATIONS CHAMPIONSHIP: PLAYER AND SCORING STATISTICS (AFTER FIVE ROUNDS) - TOP TRY SCORERS: 3 - Tommy Bowe (Ireland), Keith Earls (Ireland), James Hook (Wales), Shane Williams (Wales) 2 - Mathieu Bastareaud (France), Pablo Can...

Did you try the RTE player and BBC player websites? I can't access them in work but most programmes are uploaded - although not sure if you can access them Stateside. Also, Against the Head should be on the RTE Player http://www.rte.ie/player/#v=1067146

Am not a fan of KC but he deserved to get MOM over O'Leary... IMO. Good game but agree with the posts above. One good game does not mean he is world-class... yet. Jaysus, he is quick though!

Stephen Jones is so HOT right now... according to BOD!

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/rugby_union/welsh/8563247.stm "He's managed to remain in a pretty hot jersey in Welsh rugby. The number 10 for Wales - there has always seemed to be a streamline of them coming through.... They are always an exciting team to play against. You don't always know wh...

Re: Eddie Izzard Insane Marathon Quest

Yea, really enjoying it . Met him last year in the UK when he was doing it. Priceless. He really did stop for pints along the way! Have my doubts that he only did 5 weeks training though.

Re: Schools Rugby 2009-10 - SCT

Declaration: I will be supporting Michael's with my every fibre on the 17th. My point: I find the sort of carping on this topic symptomatic and reflective of a sad fall in basic decency around schools rugby from supporters to players. Red cards, yellow cards, ambulances, supporters being frisked fo...

Re: BOD's Injury

Outrageous that people think that BOD should rest for the benefit of Leinster and at the expense of Ireland. Where is your national pride? If he is fit, he should and will play. Grand Slam is gone but there is a Championship and Triple Crown to play for. Ten or five years ago we would have been over...

Re: Hell hath no fury

Regardless of any media agenda, it doesn't hide from the fact that ROG was simply not good enough against the French, and we had someone on the bench who was good enough, his name was Jonathon Sexton and he should always start when fit. Excellent in-depth analysis there. One thing though, you forgo...

Slatterys in Beggar's Bush is a good spot. They have a flat screen up against the window so you can watch the game while having a smoke, pint and a burger outside!

Re: Congrats Bull

He's a strange rugby players in a lot of ways in that he's this odd gentle giant, who just plays the game and doesn't seem too interested in niggle. Just intensely focused on his job and with this weird anachronistic view of the game that's very amateur (not in a bad way). I'll never forget the way...

Re: Keith Earls draws a picture of BOD

Cullen is far superior in the lineout than DOC and is more menacing around the park. Kidney should strongly consider featuring him again over the coming weeks if the ankle is up to it. POC has been fairly poor throughout the 6N but not much other options to come in at the top level so hopefully he'l...
