Re: Box Sets... The Next One ???

So FX renew The Strain and Tyrant, which are both garbage but have cancelled The Bridge, which had actually really improved in it's second season. :-( The Strain is annoying in parts but having watched the series through I actually think it's worth going back and taking a second look there Donny. My mother does this, and I can't get my head around it. You'd rather sit there watching a paused screen for three minutes than just let the ads play?

The second episode is actually worse, as in B movie worse, as in made by a Network channel worse. Can't believe FX made this shite.
You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. The source material was utter dross.

Guy ran into the back of me. Piece of sh!t car is written off. Doc told me to take off work for a month as I have concussion/whiplash and am having trouble sleeping. Rear-ended a guy who stopped dead in front of me at the top of the M50 southbound on-ramp at Firhouse on Tuesday morning. Was doing about 20kmh; my seatbelt didn't even lock. Got the damage assessment back there this afternoon, and the car is a write-off :( :( :( Yours, his, or both? Nowadays cars ...

I only got 3 episodes into PD before I got distracted. Have the rest of them recorded though. I've been too busy discovering Orange is the New Black.

I know. They were probably equally horrified when they had to venture over to Croke Park while Lansdowne was being redeveloped.

I must have missed the masses of stabbings, glassings and car-jackings at the Gloucester match there two seasons ago, did I?

Got clamped last night. Had to sit in on focus groups at our ad agency, which is on Grantham St. Parked, looked at the sign directly opposite my car – pay and display til 7pm. Grand, went to the meter and got a ticket til 7. We finished up at about 10pm, came out to the car and it was clamped. I was...

Well don't bother with Valerie Martin's The Ghost of the Mary Celeste. Stultifyingly boring chick-lit disguised as a mystery novel, with Arthur Conan Doyle making several appearances for no absolutely no reason that I can discern.

Next up, Stephen King with Mr. Mercedes.
