Devitt’s on Camden Street does a proper trad session (upstairs from 9.30 till late). Not touristy like most that you will find in the city centre. And you can even follow the crowd of young wans across to Coppers afterward if you are brave - or drunk - enough!

Those ones on the Bath forum were soon accounted for. The chap who posted was able to use them in the end. Just to save people some time. Not looking likely that there'll be many spares floating about for this.

I wonder would there be any appetite for an unofficial standing section in the south lower? Would probably help to generate a better atmosphere and would be a means for some of those who are fed up with all that goes with the big games at Landsdowne to be grouped together. Was just trying to get tickets for the main terrace on ticketmaster, but there are none available. Have not been to the Sportsground before - would I be able to pay in tomorrow at the gate and then go on to any of the terraces?

Indeed - presumably there's no restriction on length and any white hollow plastic pole will do the job. Could maybe be another revenue opp for the OLSC or the Leinster Store at the RDS in the longer run? When it comes down to it though I doubt they'll be checking people's flags at the gate on Saturd...

Maybe there could be a supply of the 'approved' flagpoles on hand for those with their own flags (i.e. not the ones handed out before games)?
