Think the logic of bringing everyone from the bench and Jenkins and then sending them back home after the first game makes a lot of sense. I'd even consider keeping a couple for both games - the sun front row might benefit from more gametime. None of them have many minutes this year.

Usually I would understand, but we had trhe clock in our favour, the crowd was up, England had momentum. Why is kicking it back to them a good idea?

Also props to England for deballing our lineout and maul. I'm sure the stats will point othe lineout being functional, but it was sh!t ball and the maul did nothing. England won this with their selection up front.

I think it is bizarre. From what I can tell, defences are heavily influenced by league and the theory seems to be that you push the opposition back and reduce the chances of your own team making a mistake and coughing up the ball nearer your own line. I think it is b*%&!cks - league has a six tackle count, so never going to be the same situation.

It seems like a totally unnecessary risk to have Stuart McCloskey on the bench at 23. It seems to me that a 6/2 split would be fine if Larmour was on the bench, but if you want to include McCloskey at 23, then you really need to go with a standard 5/3 subs list.
