Re: HC Squad 2012/2013
BOD quoted as saying "even Exeter" will be chomping at the bit to play us. Hope he doesn't rue appearing so dismissive

Re: Rory McIlroy
How could anybody be annoyed about the way somebody feels about themselves? As I've said above, it's entirely his prerogative. No-one is annoyed at him, nor should they be. Anyone who stops supporting him as a result wasn't really supporting him in the first place, were they? This is a point that i...

Re: Rory McIlroy
Citizens of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland are British by right. They may also actively claim Irish citizenship. Those of us who consider ourselves British and Irish do so in the same way as, for example, others consider themselves Scottish and British. Being British doesn...

Re: Rory McIlroy
what would be the correct adjective for somebody living in the the Falklands? Chancers? The Tans who bailed them out in '82, called them Bennys - after the character in Crossroads - because they were slightly retarded/delusional...Funny thing is that ol' Benny looked slightly like our/their Rory......

Re: Please don't go
I've a feeling Joe is gonna be offered a place on the coaching team for the Lions. Would be great for him, but the worry for us is that it will distract him from his Leinster duties in the run up to the end of season games. If he gets picked, his profile will be raised hugely and then we'll probabl...

Re: Munster Thread 2012-2013
Has the Stander deal fallen through? Saw him playing for the Bulls the other day in the Currie Cup? Or is he joining up after that which means you may as well write him out for this season

Re: This summer's pre-season friendlies
Wow. clearly our domestic bread and butter means lots to you. Wonder if Rabo knew they were signing up to sponsor a league designed to give clubs without a viable domestic league "sub HC experience" Leinster's pre-seasons friendlies begin in LLanneli on the 31st August in the usual build ...

Re: This summer's pre-season friendlies
the Rabo means plenty to me. just because it was set up to fulfil that purpose does not mean it has not grown in the last 12 years. importance of a league increases every year. hence the Top 14 being more important than the hc to many French teams. clanetley game is the 1ST of sept, and I kind of l...

Re: This summer's pre-season friendlies
I was at the Leicester game a couple of years back, it was irritating to lose that badly but also amusing seeing the glee of the Leicester fans. They thought it was a massive achievement. Or perhaps they view pre season as meaningful warm ups to a pro league where you have to hit the ground running...

How about " this coming season" for this(next) season and "this season past" for last season. and then we can say " next season" for the season after the next.

Re: A way to make Irish Rugby better & Revive Connacht
Can you post without personal insults Donny? What I am suggesting is that it is a professional game and Irish players have it way too handy if they can pick and choose which province they will deign to play for. If one province needs a player that is not playing at the province he is signed to and t...

Re: Leinster Squad 12/13 So far
There is the small matter of having to use the NIQ spots also. We have 5 spots to use and the IRFU are hammering at the door, trying to diminish the requirement. What would it say if Leinster turned around and said "Actually, no, we reckon we can manage with 2." We might not need NIQ play...
