Re: The Munster Bandwagoners
You make a fair point about where the players come from but place of birth is not the sole determinant of a person's background. How many of the Irish players on the pitch for Leinster last Saturday didn't go to a private, fee-paying school? I think you'll find it's a big fat zero. Your right very ...

Re: The Munster Bandwagoners
I think everyone would agree that bandwagoning is a good thing, in the context of drawing fans to the game. Theres no rule to say that you have to have done this or liked rugby fir years to attend matches. I think the only issue arises when people feel that so called "Bandwagoners" get tic...

Re: The Munster Bandwagoners
I'm a Leinster supporter but if Munster win, I'm definitely going to stop supporting them and start supporting Munster permanently. Any Leinster supporter who doesn't do the same is an idiot. ......Sarcasm??? :| ......Irony?? It was a cunning ploy to root out any bandwagoners. A real bandwago...

Re: Munster Thread
And if Luke McAllister heads back he'd also have something to say about it. Mafi is a great player for Munster but just can't see him at AB level.Mach10 wrote:There was an improvement in their Grand Slam tour alright.

Re: Leinster team for Edinburgh v Leinster
But Toner is a light house! Guarentees linout ball. Admittedly too tall for ball carrying, Hogans not bad but would have thought Toner is Leinster's next big thing in the 2nd row. Hogan is a solid squad player Toners problem is going to be his height. He is still not big enough and obviously you ca...

Re: Are Munster in trouble too........
Munster have reached the quarterfinal for each of the last 11 seasons. Only John Hayes has played in them all AFAIK. The squad keeps evolving, very few from the 2000 final will play in the final  this year. The squad keeps evolving, there is no reason to believe things will go the way of Ulst...

Re: Munster Thread
Jaysus that was a massacre. To be fair, the Ospreys were very poor. You can only play what's in front of you though obviously. And it's ridiculous that Warwick has only recent cemented his first team place for Munster. Was superb today. A massacre indeed, and couldn’t have happened to a nicer bunch...

Re: Leinster team for Edinburgh v Leinster
I've no major complaints with the team. If I was to make one change it would be O'Donohoe starting ahead of Keane. If Stephen Knoop is in ahead of Jamie Hagan, I'm guessing the former Connacht player will be around next season. Why else would they pick him? I'm a little surprised that Ian McKinley ...

Re: Are Munster in trouble too........
Leinster have developed Kearney, Fitzgerald, Heaslip, Healy, Toner, Sexton and O'Brian in the past 2 years...most of whom have already broken onto the International front, and have been hailed greats already!!! Who have Munster Produced? Keith Earls........ O'Leary, Buckley, Ryan, Hurley are the ma...
