The speed at which he moves the ball makes some compensation for the quality of his pass, he should definitely be persevered with.
If you've a SH with a perfect pass it's not all that much good if he waits until the defence is set to make it.

Re: Second Captains
There's loads of rugby on 2nd Captains. Often the exact inverse of what the OP says, where they'll start the show and launch straight into rugby and talk about it for about half an hour. Now there's not a huge amount of rugby news and the GAA championships are kicking off, they're going to talk abou...

Hines has signed for Sale. Mumm is under contract at Exeter. Kane Douglas is out of contract at the end of the season.

Re: Leinster vs Munster March 29th
For what it's worth (and I mentioned this in the Munster thread at the weekend), for the simple reason of not putting an official in an awkward position (and not suggesting bias), why can't they have officials from different unions, let alone different clubs. We were supposed to have a French ref, ...

Re: The Quickening. Last one under Rabo sponsorship.
I can see Munster getting turned over against Glasgow as theyll have to rest guys after back to back monstrous games and theyll want first team to run out against Connacht a week later to get up to speed for a likely HC SF I think you might be writing off Toulouse a bit there, SOK. They still have ...

I'd take Caldwell, no bother. He's a decent enough player and he's IQ.

Don't think Cullen should be playing (though he will I'd imagine). He's been really poor this season. Would much prefer one of the younger players in there.

Re: Jamie Please don't go! (Down to New Orleans)
Ruddock is captaining the Wolfhounds, Leavy is captaining the U20s. We have Murphy, Ryan, Gilsenan, O'Brien, McLaughlin, Jennings. I fail to see the business sense of paying Heaslip this much. Nearly all those players are flankers. Murphy is the closest thing to an 8 and even he doesn't have all th...

Re: Rumour Mill
On the basis of not reinventing the wheel. Is it time for the rugby unions to bring in transfer windows akin to what happens in soccer? Ergo contract renewals are one thing but other clubs can only talk to players if they are out of contract (not nearing the end of their contract) or during transfe...
