Rumours abound that Mahony may be ok... Maybe even Sexton. POC defo out of World Cup.
Could be shite though.
I'd love to get Earls back on the wing for this to be honest. Not sure how though...
Couldn't have Ruddock going straight into starting team. I'd go Ryan 5, Henderson 6, jordi to bench.

Re: Ireland v France 11/10/2015
So so proud of that performance... There was a time when Madigan would not have nailed the first two pens... There was a time when Earls would have retreated into his shell after a mistake like that... There was a time when we would have lost patience in our phase play and given possession back to t...

Re: Lions v Australia. 1st test.
Apparently the Telgraph are reporting that Tom Youngs will start with Ben on the bench. Fair call on Tom starting ahead of Hibbard but unlucky on Murray, who I think has been on better form on the tour. Agree with that Donny, from what I've seen (missed a few bits & pieces along the way), Murra...

Re: Wales V'S Ireland
Yeah, two of Heaslips tackles in particular were very poor. That said he made 18 of them. Three times as many as POM did. They missed the same proportion. I don't think POM is good enough to be the primary ball carrying back row at this level. He is streets off O'Brien or Ferris, and I'd much rathe...

Re: Wales V'S Ireland
WRT the Lions, I also agree. Leigh Halfpenny was the only We;sh player who beat up his rival. Rob was good and he is rusty, but that tackle on SOB, oh my Gawd. Cracking little player. Interesting, was just about to post the comment below and then you comment on the exact tackle I was talking about!...

Re: Wales V'S Ireland
Did we actively change our game plan in the second half or did they figure us out and we were unable to adapt? I would think you should look to freshen things(not entire systemic change) at half time, instead we reverted back to tactics that have had us lose to Wales repeatedly. The lack of impact ...

Re: Kidney OUT
Great job by players and management today. That is all. i know that poite is the most useless ref on the planet, but weren't you watching the second half?? very poor indeed. 19 unanswered points by a team who are better than the argies, but not by much. as good as the first 40 were the last 40 were...

Re: Wales V'S Ireland
I know mcf would go to 12 but England would send tuilagi down his channel all day long regardless. I'd prefer cave, mcsharry or Marshall to either earls/ mcf to be honest.

Re: Wales V'S Ireland
I think people are being a bit unfair on Earls. Obviously his arrival turned the game in Wales' favour, but its not because he was poor, its because Davies is extremely good, and only BOD could contain him. Earls coming in took BOD out of Davies way which allowed him to make hay. More accurately th...

Re: Kidney OUT
Great job by players and management today. That is all. It will be interesting to see how we get on against a real team. Welsh rugby is in complete free fall. Perhaps, but that one of the most intense test matches I've seen in a long time. It was a far higher quality of game than the one I'm watchi...

Re: Wales V'S Ireland
Superb stuff today. Everyone played well but BOD, Best, Murray, SOB, Healy, POM were outstanding. Normally when we let such a big lead go it's due to Ireland errors or a reduced intensity but can't say that about today; we were actually really good in the second but obviously from a defensive perspe...

Re: Ireland v Argentine AI 2012
Murray excellent today, played like the player we saw at Munster when he first emerged. Got quickly to the ruck and passed it quickly and smartly. No dawdling at the ruck, no going for stupid runs that weren't on to prove what a big boy he is. He'd almost been de-Kidneyfied. Gave Sexton a proper se...

Re: Team V NZ 1st test. 2012
That was simply an intensity a few notches up from HEC level rugby. We were forced into more mistakes than usual and they were punished mercilessly in a way which never happens at HEC or even 6 Nations level. I would hope though that having experienced that intensity that the team learn to live wit...

Re: Kidney OUT
We had a good winger (Earls) playing at inside centre. We had a good inside centre (McFadden) playing on the wing. We had a 6 (O'Brien) playing at 7. We had a 7ish (O'Mahony) playing at 6. We had a bitter, self-serving, old, sub-Rabo standard outhalf (ROG) on the field from the 50th minute, with an...

Re: Kidney OUT
I have had 4 months off Conor Murray bashing. Jaysus wept he was so shite again. SLOW, PONDEROUS, BAD PASSER, TERRIBLE BOX KICKER, INDECISIVE, WRONG OPTIONS TIME AFTER TIME, 2 SCRUM ERRORS IN RIRST 10 MIN. Have I missed anything? I dont think Reddan is the answer but he is so far ahead of Murray. R...

Re: Team V NZ 1st test. 2012
In 1998 during a period when munster and munsters territory 1man up, game dominated the NHrugbysphere, EOS attempted to select a RWC team consisting mainly of munster players to play an open offloading gameplan. Skip to 2012, we now have a period of Leinster dominance, who play a running, counterin...

Re: Team V NZ 1st test. 2012
Analysis:- Front row:- Once Cullen wasn't selected for the tour and POC was N/A Best had to start. Second Row:- Best on tour, but really Toner and Cullen should have been on the tour. NZ's front five will have the edge. Back Row:- An all Leinster unit makes sense in this case. I think, McGl is a be...
