Re: Team for Southern Kings

Fitz has had a lot of forward passes to him today! Plus one or two thrown behind him by Blair. He was looking for a lot of work, as usual, and did well but not enough to dislodge Monye I feel (even though I think he is the better all round pick). Earls looked a lot better in space today, but of the...

Re: NZ v France

The commentators were annoying, kept getting Clerc and Heymans mixed up all game. Not too hard to distinguish, if you can't read their numbers, Heymans is the only one who looks like a pirate.

Re: Web browsers

Dump IE it is rubbish. Mozilla is the one I use and never have any problems with it. Lots of nice add-on, and nice features. Opera also comes highly rated although I have never used it and Safari is pretty good too. Any one of those three though will be better than IE.

In the same boat, but they just opened the 2nd last section of the Motorway (Fermy/Mitchelstown) so that cuts a bit more off the journey time.

Backline might be:

Tuilagi (think his ban is up at that stage)
Mauger

J. Murphy (have they anyone else?)
G. Murphy

Having watched them a bit recently I would reckon the Kiwi Hamilton would start on the wing ahead of Murphy. Looks like a decent player.

Re: Niall Kiely

Ah it was fairly offensive. Having been forced to sit through a presentation skills from Carr Communications that made the UCD equivalent look impressive I'm delighted to see he's ignored every lesson his company espouses. Exactly. As I mentioned in an earlier post, they standard of writing for an ...

Re: Niall Kiely

Aside from the nasty and vituperative content of Kiely's article, which left a very bad taste in the mouth, the quality of the writing, for a journalist and PR expert was atrocious. It was almost unreadable (again ignoring the tone of it). Contrast it to the Leinster counter article and the differen...

Re: OLSC - Call to Arms

Sons and daughters of Leinster! I see in your eyes the same fear that would take the heart of me. A day may come when the courage of Leinster fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship, but it is not this day. An hour of wolves and shattered shields when the Age of Leinste...

Re: The Great Keith Earls Fraud

I think Trevino was famous for saying, among other things, that "only God can hit a one iron" in reference to one of the time he was struck by lightning on a course. The other quote is most often attributed to Player.

Re: 1st test teams in 97

That was a serious SA team. Gary Teichmann, I remember when he played a seaon or two for Clontarf back in the early nineties before they got into the AIL. He was a class act although at the time they reckoned he was too wiry to make the Boks back row. He was lightning fast for an eight with really g...

They need to start playing the ref better at the breakdown. Too many penalties spoiling good work.
