Re: A whiff of Cordite
The ROG article is interesting and revealing, in what is said and what is unsaid. The Synman stuff completely misses the fact that Munster cut Snyman because they wanted to spend money elsewhere. And then he tries to stoke up bitterness with Munster fans from that. He talked before the game about h...

Re: A whiff of Cordite
Beyond anything else, why are no newspapers paying for editors any more? That article really could have benefited from one. You actually have people thinking a double HEC winning coach won't be considered for the Ireland job cos he annoyed Leinster fans on OTB. That appears to be projectionism: I'v...

Re: A whiff of Cordite
Dan Biggar making a whole helluva a lot of sense on the Rugby Pod talking about Leinster and the other provinces. It's balanced, nice to hear. Biggar is a great addition to the Rugby Pod: good (and relevant) knowledge of the game and a very balanced and clear communicator. I really like Big Jim too...

Re: Leinster v Northampton Saints - EPCR Semi-Final Croke Park 4th May
haha! quality post. :happy clapper: I hear The Special One was on off the ball earlier calling them bandwagoners "who probably don't even know who I am?" TBF to him, being from Munster, he probably has never met a bandwagoner.....oh wait. Be some craic for some to make "Don't you kno...

Re: A whiff of Cordite
The Irish Time rugby podcast "The Counter Ruck" poses the question is the central contract system broken? Question, who won back to back 6 Nations? To me the short answer is, that it's working. What is broken is other provinces development of players, and I would posit that Munster aren't ...

Re: Leinster v Northampton Saints - EPCR Semi-Final Croke Park 4th May
Are all tickets cheaper? Or just the Hill ones bringing down the average. Still too expensive IMO, particularly because there's no Junior tickets. EPCR will continue to prove themselves as incompetent if there isn't a big crowd for this. Its just Hill prices that arw cheaper.. All other ticket pric...

Re: Leinster v Northampton Saints - EPCR Semi-Final Croke Park 4th May
Not sure how reliable this is, but I have heard that tickets will go on public sale at 10am on Friday and are an average of €10 cheaper than for last year's semi-final at the Aviva Stadium - down on average from €49 to €39. Premium tickets this time around are priced at €90 for Premium, Category 1 a...

Re: A whiff of Cordite
Watched Saturday's game again last night. Normally I find Lenihan to be fairly balanced but can't stand the sound of Cahill's voice. Surprisingly thought that Cahill was the balanced one on Saturday. Lenihan sounded like a child that spent the week before Christmas in Santa's toy factory and then w...

Sure, they wouldn't know what to do with him. It'd be like expecting a McLaren to do the work of a combine.mildlyinterested wrote: ↑April 16th, 2024, 9:08 am Box Office move.. Munster fans only jealous that its not them.

Re: Jordi Barrett to sign for Leinster
It is a remarkable vote of confidence in the players, coaches and the rugby culture of our Club, Leinster, that Jordie Barrett chose to spend his unique six-months sabbatical , with us. He had many options and I am delighted he decided to join Leinster and hope that he enjoys his time with us as mu...

Interesting rumour circulating about a very high profile signing coming up for Leinster It'll annoy the hell out of all the right people One would imagine a Tighthead. Think Leinster did a really good job of pricing to ensure that we had nearly 100k people at 2 games within a week. Do they control pricing at this game or is it the EPCR?
