Re: Pro 14 - General Thread
I don't think its a shambles. I'm not a fan of conferences, but I think this has been well organised actually, particularly the idea of resetting the conferences based on form to make sure that a balance is retained (which will also keep things fresh) What is shambolic about it? I'm actually lookin...

Re: Leinster vs Glasgow - Friday 28th April - We go again
Delighted to see Ross and Ryan get a proper send off . Can see them both getting hauled ashore at 50 to a rapturous applause. Likely Jack will only be getting 10 minutes off the bench if even. Serious workload on him. Can't wait to see how N McCarthy gets on. Should be getting reasonable quality ba...

Didn't Castres knock Wasps out in 09 in the last match in our group when they had nothing to play for and we fell over the line into the knockout? Wouldn't be writing them off for any home game. At home they'll put in the graft

Re: Ireland v New Zealand - Take Two
Eddie O'Sullivan chatting with Murray Kinsella made some excellent comments regarding ref's performance and the reaction to it on The42 rugby show. His views pretty much reflect mine. His advice to look at situations with the jerseys reversed and comments about the pace of the game creating unfortu...

I think everyone would like to see him extend his contract. I guess they'll have to sort it early in the new year so he can plan for family etc either way.

Re: Let's Make The Foley '8' Stance a Tradition
It obviously doesn't fly for this forum but I posted it somewhere else and got 15 likes for it to date. Thanks for the feedback. It seems that people think something would be nice but that the Foleyassiciation is not to be repeated for people here. Any other suggestions or do we do what everyone el...

Re: Special Project Players
Could you not just limit the number of project players who can be named in a international match day squad. Say a max of 3 players in the 23 could be qualified by residency?

I couldn't give a fiddlers if he's playing with his mates. It's dangerous and having parents and coaches on the sideline laughing at the opposition as they get swatted aside is pathetic.
In NZ he'd be playing against lad his own size

The a f%~king scandal and hearing adults openly laughing at young lads half his size getting flattened is frankly appalling. How many of those young players who unfortunately aren't the size of a teenager at age 8 will give up the game after that or worse end up with a serious injury. No way he sho...

Fuuuuucccck.
Sounds serious enough from the press release. Hopefully he and the family get through what ever has come up. Best of luck for the future Kurt.

Re: 2016 Summer Tour to South Africa.
Must say I like the look of the team and JS's thinking behind the selection In many ways, though he wouldnt admit it, last weeks win gives JS some breathing space for the year ahead with regards IRB ranking, that may have had some impact on his team selection for tomorrow. We have to plan for life ...

Re: Connacht Rugby 2015 / 2016
Too many cheap shots these days when the act is never going to stop the score or indeed after its been scored and they just hit them anyway. Refs need to start clamping down on it before a serious injury comes from it
