Re: September 2017 Doubleheader in South Africa
Some info, boys: New Zealand changed their immigration system earlier this year requiring South African citizens to have a visa to enter NZ. As a result, SA changed their requirements so Kiwis now need a visa to enter South Africa. The change only affects Kiwis, neither JGP or Nacewa were aware of t...

Re: Rumour Mill
Not exactly flaming hot stuff, but apparently Isa is nearly nailed on for a return with a view to moving him into a coaching position, Stringer is quite likely to come to Leinster, and the LB is sniffing around after Julian Savea. I would have thought a high quality medium-term second row prospect w...

Re: England V Ireland 6 Nations 2014
The seething from this 23 is going to be hilarious. Already I've heard "It's not Ireland, it's a Lulster team" and "Joe is deliberately doing it to get back at Munster for his time as Leinster coach" and the usual blah blah blah boycott the national team I'm a Munster-only fan no...

Re: We are Leinster chant
You need a hard corps of ultras on the terraces chanting constantly before you get the crowd as a whole to sing. Most fans don't know any Leinster songs/chants so they stay quiet.
It's an improvement on the days of people turning around and shushing or telling you to sit down when we score

Re: Rumour Mill
It's also interesting to note that with VDM leaving and with Roux signing a 2 year deal, and assuming Nacewa is leaving to be replaced by a NIQ, that would leave us with 1 project player (ROUX) and two NIQ's (Goodman and Nacewa / replacement) ... what's the threshold again, 4 or 5? That would mean ...

Re: Match Day Experience Becoming a Circus
I haven't disliked the atmosphere at a Leinster match for years, when we ran the old farts who hated chanting/clapping/standing out of town.

Joe should game the system and sign a NIQ OH just so Munster can't. Enjoy another vintage year of O'Gara, country cousins.

Re: Why Conway should/shouldn't wear blue again
It's a strange situation that implies three things: (a) Leinster are either happy to let him leave or unwilling to fight for him. (b) Conway wants to leave Leinster. (c) Munster were interested enough to actually go after him. I would guess that something happened behind closed doors that makes his ...

The story at the time was that sean didn't want one and that it was less attractive to some of the younger players. Image rights etc. expand please..... Centrally contracted players have all their image rights and advertising opportunities controlled by the IRFU. SOB couldn't go out on his own and ...

Just to be Devil's advocate, if Paul Carney is getting flak for soft sentencing on 6/7 cases, does it not imply that he's not lenient in sentencing in all the cases you don't hear about? Anyway, my rant: "Please fill out the application form and send it back along with a copy of your CV" A...
