Re: Munster Rugby - Semi Conscious, the Series Finale??? - 2020/21

He's a lock/flanker isn't he? Plays both sides but he'd be a like for like with Beirne if he came to Ireland.

Re: A whiff of Cordite

in particular people cancelling subscriptions would probably have been the big driver. It's a bit strange to frame it as a Gatland v Franno thing. No. The advertisers finding the brand toxic is the entire thing. Subs wouldn't actually end up happening and would take much longer. They would not have...

Re: 2021 Lions

Well, I'm sorry for Murray that he lost the captaincy and is only subbing and I'm happy for Beirne. Kinda wish we could have gotten him back after Scarlets. Absolutely, I love Fardy of course but I would have preferred Beirne. Hindsight and all that. Murray could still play his way into starting. C...

Re: 2021 Lions

The UK Times, under the pen of our own Peter O'Reilly, has had an 'AI' editing nightmare that has yielded comedy gold. I quote: "Irish prostitute Ronan Kelleher has joined a Lions training camp as cover due to a shortage of prostitutes. Kelleher will participate in practice this week because K...

Is Josh Wycherley still injured?

And what did Knox do? Surely he's been around long enough.

Re: is the Rainbow Cup still going ahead?

exhibition tournaments are a jokeshop. Yeah very much agree. There were some good games throughout the event, but none of them meant anything. My season ended with the HEC loss. Real Madrid play Shamrock Rovers and Celtic in the yada yada cup. Nice day out with some beer and the kids get a run out ...

Re: is the Rainbow Cup still going ahead?

The competition itself was an utter farce from beginning to end. If it in any way contributed to us and others keeping going it was a necessary evil but I had no interest in it Move on. I mean it's not like I'll be watching the final or anything, I'll probably have DIY to do. Perhaps Leinster losin...

Re: is the Rainbow Cup still going ahead?

Mixed opinions. I get that having the competition next year is a big win. On the other hand it messed up this year and I didn't bother watching it (I saw two games, one with us. If I had literally anything else to do I did it). Was going to write this year off anyway. My children currently dispute t...

Yeah, moved to Zoom in work years ago. Zoom were, and are, ahead of the game.

It just works.

He looked pretty happy with a yellow.

In unstructured play even mediocre Welsh teams look much better than good Irish ones.

Re: Munster Rugby - Semi Conscious, the Series Finale??? - 2020/21

Half time talk for Cardiff was a bollocking on maul defense.

Seriously though, I think la Rochelle will have made teams plan on focusing on mauls next term.

Keep Ball alive my hole, they slowed the game down all game.

It helps that Cardiff don’t seem to have ever seen a maul before
Fair point. I was going wuhwhat? At one point at their maul defence.

Re: Munster Rugby - Semi Conscious, the Series Finale??? - 2020/21

Archer has already given away two penalties and lucky not to give away another for a dirty clearout that was missed. Seriously why do they keep picking this guy instead of trying to develop someone else? Very strange that Munster are losing considering that they’re saying goodbye to some players. B...

Re: Munster Rugby - Semi Conscious, the Series Finale??? - 2020/21

Munster have picked three forwards who won’t be at the club next season. Archer also starting although at least Knox is on the bench ahead of Ryan. Sorry to be a broken record about this but I can’t get over how poor their selection policy is. I appreciate that they want to reward good servants and...

Or Byrne the Elder - just imagine the damage he could have done with his cross field kicks

Can't believe you don't remember it. The game with that guy? Who ran on to the pitch? With that thing?
Now you're doing a me and misremembering entirely. That was the other match that time.
