Re: 2nd Row going forward
Thanks for the updates on Dunne. With Dev and Fardy approaching retirement, Baird and Ryan looking likely to be in the National squad, we need a couple of the NG to come good. Never thought that Moloney was going to be anything more than a Pro12/14/16 level player but this season, in particular, he ...

Re: Glasgow at Home, Sunday the 28th, 5.30pm
Hi guys . New poster here . I have a couple of questions for the Leinster die hard s . How good is scott Penny ? What would be is favoured/best position? He seems to be absolutely class to me and seriously fast . Also wondering about Frawley. Would he make it as a international centre ? I was very ...

Re: 6 Nations 2021
Bill Shankly had the rights of it.
When you read the papers tomorrow you'll see it was a try.

Re: 6 Nations 2021
Pretty sure it's not a knock on until the ball touches the ground or another player or in extreme case perhaps the uprights. Not even sure if it's a knock on if it touches the ref. However from my own experience and watching the game I've seen the ball knocked forward into the air and subsequently k...

Re: 6 Nations 2021
The "knock on" try is an interesting one. Does the law book even cover it properly. The word control was mentioned but is that relevant. Was the ball going backwards from the last contact that the player had with? Yes I think it waa and that being the case it wasn't a knock on. At least the decision...

Re: 6 Nations 2021
I do have an agenda. Pick the best 10. It's pretty clear whom I think that is......Johnny! Who would you go with? We have the same agenda then although I'd expand that to the best 23. Carty, Madigan and R. Byrne are the only viable candidates with R Byrne being the one to lose out. Carbery not cons...

Re: 6 Nations 2021
Sexton was everywhere today. Great performance. He is still head and shoulders above the rest. That's bleedin obvious to anyone without an agenda. Whether you have an an agenda or not (I don't know if you do) what was bleedin obvious was that when they were down to 13 men our OH consistently took t...

Re: 6 Nations 2021
Prediction time:-
Italy v Ireland - BP win for Ireland.
Wales v England.
A mish mash of a season for both teams in terms of performance.
Wales by Adam Beard's shortest whisker.

Re: Munster Rugby - Semi Conscious, the Series Finale??? - 2020/21
I'd say if he can get through 20 mins without any issues it would be a win. Performance is pretty much irrelevant at this stage really I agree. He has been out of rugby for so long that there will probably be some rustiness. I'm very happy to see him get back on the pitch. It has taken an awful lon...

Re: Heineken Cup 2020/21
Lyon or Gloucester would be my preference but would not be distraught to get Toulon or Sharks. Certainly don't want Bristol or Exeter or Toulouse or Clermont. If we were to also win back to backs, do we keep home advantage? I think there's a gap between Exeter/Toulouse and Bristol/Clermont personal...

Re: 6 Nations 2021
Nobody should take the attacking potential of this Italian team for granted. Based on their stats from first two games, their weakness is defensive. Franco Smith seems like he has a good young half-back pairing and an exciting centree combination. Both wingers can score tries from distance or half ...

Would it not be better for Sexton to go off early, Burns to come on and prove he isn't the answer and for us to get a BP win anyway.Blue not red blood wrote: ↑February 25th, 2021, 11:42 amFor Farrells sake I hope Johnny doesnt go off early.

Re: Rumour Mill
I dunno why anyone would want to move from NZ to ireland in the near future. If the door to the international team was open (it isn’t) or to be closer to family. I'd say Jagers chances of player for either Ireland or the All Blacks are about the same at this stage So he's really not that good then?...

Re: Corona Virus
Listening to people in every media source complaining about the lack of a "road plan" to re-enter normal life, causes me great annoyance and frustration. The vast majority of prognostications from every official source come with the caveat "subject to the continued level of incidence of new cases o...

Lam is the stand out coach in Europe right now for me, won the pro 14 with Connacht and looks like he will win the premiership with Bristol His teams play great rugby, the players seem to love him and he carries himself well, just seems a proper leader. I'm hoping wales ditch pivac and appoint him ...

Tournai is a nice place to visit.
Has some nice restaurants and wait for it.
It's own Irish pub in a square full of pubs.
