Re: Outhalf death match (Sexton power vacuum)

If Frawley becomes the starting 10 for Ireland, he'll get picked without having to switch provinces. Frawley is far from certain to start at 10 in Ulster or Connacht. They have seasoned players in situ. Frawlwy is an excellent player but he's still a pretty raw 10. Maybe Faz likes having a utility ...

Re: Munster 2023/2024 - Return of the Jedi????

That was pretty close to a full Munster side alright so Donnacha’s poor mouth was a bit off. Yeah total nonsense. They were only missing Kilcoyne, Barron, Jager,Snyman, Kleyn, Edogbo, Odonoghue, Hailey from their usual starting 23. Ridiculous to cry about that Are Munster the only team in Europe wi...

Re: Munster 2023/2024 - Return of the Jedi????

Was surprised that Munster were seen as major underdogs once team announced. Bar a lock you were probably looking at the first choice 15 back - though bench weak obviously. Add in Toulon not stepping up and it’s a handy enough win. That was pretty close to a full Munster side alright so Donnacha’s ...

Very poor call by Evans. Scottish defenders hand was clearly under Turner’s foot.

Larmour did his Irish prospects no favours with that lame attempt to tackle.

Re: Montpellier v Leinster Friday 17th 8pm

As a Munster supporter I think Leinster has been harshly and unfairly treated on this one. Last week Wasps were allowed to play despite having had positive Covid tests among their players on the morning of the game so this seems inconsistent to say the least. A fairer conclusion, even if still unsat...

Re: Munster Rugby 2021/2022 - Search for the Holy Grail

Preserve me from this Munster litany about youngsters. They should have been playing their youngsters regularly for the past 3 years but didn't. Today they have 9 experienced internationals playing against a team with 25 + injured or ill. Eight of ‘their youngsters’ were in school three years ago, ...

That is either ridiculously bad luck or someone in S&C has made a major error.
It’s the other leg, not a ‘re-rupture’ according to RTÉ

Re: 2021 Lions

Lawes will switch to the row alongside Itoje I assume when Beirne comes on for AWJ. Don't think Beirne is remotely big enough to play in the row against those monster locks. He is taller and heavier at 1.98m/113kg than Itoje at 1.97m/110kg I didn't know that. He doesn't seem it. In which case, he's...

by LeRouxIsPHat Absolutely outstanding try from Baloucoune, no real surprise that he could do it but so good to see him look so comfortable already and back himself like that. Best try in I can't remember how long from an Irish Player. I also couldn't believe the USA's maul defense was that bad for...
