Re: Rumour Mill

Would be a real shame to see Deegan go, but totally understandable if hes looking to play more. Hes a brilliant servant to Leinster, and through no fault of his own has had to compete with two other world class players. Hed be starting in pretty much every other club side and would have a big bag of...

Re: Jordi Barrett to sign for Leinster

Fair play to Rob Baxter, always thought he was brilliant. A man of pure class who plays by the rules and brings a team like Exeter from literaly nothing to european glory, and atm punching well above his weight, even stripped of all the players he developed. Should have gotten the England job imo, t...

Re: Jordi Barrett to sign for Leinster

I think other problems which arent getting much of a mention, especially in Munster is that GAA and Hurling are taking away most of their potentially best players, and most schools down there are not playing rugby. The young talent isnt produced, because they are not playing the game, and potential ...

Re: Leinster v La Rochelle Saturday 13th April 2024 at 5.30pm RTE2

Larmour, Jenkins and Osbourne had their best games in blue. Please lads, the Munster rhetoric has to stop, Im sure there were far more of them cheering for us, as we would for them if they were playing, dont let a few fools on the internet wind you up, they may not be from Munster for all you know. ...

Id be quite happy to see Osbourne and Turner start tbh, Ive total faith in both from what ive seen that they can deliver on the big stage

Re: Leinster vs Bulls, March 29th, 7.35pm

Id agree about Jake White and Cotzee. I thought their post match presser was very honest and showed a lot of class even tho they were very disappointed. They had a great first half and should take a good bit out of the game into europe. They probably didnt deserve to lose by as much. Our counter att...

Re: Leinster vs Bulls, March 29th, 7.35pm

Im in the give Harry a go for a few games camp. Ross has had plenty of chances, we know what he can do. Ive been impressed by Turner, I think he has a very bright future. We will have to keep them quiet up front, cause they have some backs that could rip us to shreds given space. Agree with people o...

Re: England v Ireland Saturday 9th March 2024 4.45pmTwickenham

If its 6-2, I think its a lot safer to go with Frawley on the bench to cover ten, England I think, will be hoping that Ringrose is brought straight back in so they can try to catch him cold. Id stick with Bundee and Henshaw, and bring Ringrose back for Scotland, everything else picks itself pretty m...

Re: 6N: Ireland Italy - Dublin 3pm Sun 11 Feb 2024

For me, the jury is still very much out on Crowley. From what Ive seen, both Frawley and HByrne are every bit as good and possibly better once given a chance, I wouldnt get too comfortable if I was Crowley.

Re: 6N: France Ireland - Marseille Fri 8pm 2 Feb 2024

I reckon one of those french tries was a knock on aswell. not sure if the tmo had access to the cameras, heard him complaining at one point. I think the refs missed a fwe things, but were not too bad

Aldritt completely dominated by Caelan Doris. One of our truly best performances. Mc Carthy was outstanding.

Crowley having not the best start. Beirne has been brilliant, master class from him. French are playing dirty, and paid the price

Re: 6 Nations 2024

Btw Im only saying what I would do, only if Beirne has been training at 6 would AF consider starting him there, but Ive a feeling that if we see a backrow of JDF Doris and PoM, we'll be listening to 'The pack just got a bit bullied up front..' narrative all next week. Beirne is also a much better li...

Re: 6 Nations 2024

I have to disagree, Beirne is right up there with our handful of best players. IMO hes wasted in the second row (and probably is a bit light for it), probably our best turnover threat and should start at all costs. For me, McCarthy is the obvious secondrow choice and with Ryan are well capable of ge...

Re: 6 Nations 2024

Personally I think both VDF and PoM in the same team is too lightweight for the French (Id have brought Connors and used him in this game). Would prob start or bench VDF in all the other games. I think I see your reasoning for starting Baird to have Beirne as cover OldSchool, but Id have Beirne go t...

Re: 6 Nations 2024

Wouldnt surprise me at all to see Ramos starting at 10

Im finding it a bit harder to see France winning than I did a few weeks ago. We probably wont have a better chance to beat them at home than now tbf. Stars may be aligning...
